I got home from an awful morning of medical tests and Eleanor was vomiting, liquid food with a teeny furball. The tiniest bit of fur makes her vomit. Then she had a liguid stool.
I gave her a 1/4 Pepcid. She let me force feed a bit, if she doesn't have food in her tummy she will go into a big painful not eating episode that lasts for several days. Then she played and groomed. I thought she was okay.
When I tried to inject, she would not eat, and was growling, she has to be distracted by food. So it turned into a major thing. I finally got the needle in her, 20 minutes late and she jumped away. I don't know how much insulin went in.
I'm so worried about her and now she got a furshot. I gave her a dose of Bupranorphine since she seems to be in pain and is very agitated.
I know, breathe, shake it off and move on, nothing I can do about it now. But I am still so upset!! I just don't know what is going on with her, and I don't know what to do.
