I know I do too. He's still having little head jerks but the vet won't give me Buprenorphine for him. He said something about giving him gabepentin but it's liquid & I'm by myself & when me & my roommate were giving it to him before I moved for vet visits to the vet I fired he was impossible to give liquid. Foamed at the mouth & all it did was chill him out for a couple of hours.

I didn't get any gabepentin because I can't give it to him by myself, so he has nothing for pain. I did find out that I can get it compounded into an ear ointment by Wedgewood pharmacy but the vet is closed until Monday & would probably tell me no. I do have onsior 6mg tablets give 2 tablets by mouth daily for pain. I heard they are a no no though?
That doesn't seem like enough insulin? His #s are sky high, I understand that Lantus is a depot insulin & it takes days for the depot to build up. I feel like I'm risking DKA with that small of a dose & if I go higher I'm risking a hypo. I don't know what to do! The depot takes 5-7 days for the lantus to build up, just be patient and stay with the lantus

Wow that is alot of good information. I have had several of those procedures done throughout my life. HPV was negative thank God. About 9yrs ago I was told I have cysts on my ovaries & cervix. They recommend I don't remember the name of it but it consisted of zapping my cervix. I read up on it & concluded that it eventually leads to a hysterectomy so I opted to get on birth control. This all started with constant heavy bleeding & cramps(menopause)The birth control has worked up until about a year ago. My menstrual cycles are a nightmare. I might as well live on the toilet for 2 days, it is bad bad!!! My tubes have been tied since Aug of 2002. I told my doctor I would like to have a hysterectomy but I have no one to take care of Panzer & Spook for a hospital stay. Also I have no one to pay my bills for the 6wks I would have to take off of work. So the plan is for me to stay on birth control until I'm 50 which will be in January coming up. Then she said I should be done with menopause & if not we would go from there. That's why I'm anemic I'm losing to much blood during my cycle. She wants me to start taking 2 iron pills a day, 1 magnesium pill, & a vitamin c gummy. Yes I was very happy to see the blues for Panzer tonight, hopefully his numbers continue to improve. I just have to be patient & let the insulin & Panzers little body do it's thing.
