I thought that giving them HC food was to bring their numbers up. But hey... I guess there's nothing to lose, now.Give him a teaspoon of LC food, and check again in a couple of hours, you might find he comes back down. It's not unusual for them to bobble about, no need to panic just yet.
Chase eats more food than that, per day. Buyt lately, he's only been picking at it.Eg once George went OTJ I fed
Approx
3ounces ambg
2tsp +3

2tsp +9
Only LC food now.Sorry. I meant MC. I thought it said MC.
His food is being spread out the best I can get it spread out. The timed feeder only holds a certain number of servings. I will just need to if I am to start him back on the drop dose tomorrow morning.

I did. Trixie's blue numbers are mostly very low. Chase had a BG of 120 the first night of being OTJ. He is at 64 this morning, so I don't know. I"ll just keep testing and feeding him his usual until someone tells me different.Don't assume you need to start him back on insulin yet. Keep giving the +9 snack.
See where he is tomorrow.
Check out Trixie's SS. She's still OTJ.
When you have time, go back to 2014 on Trix's SS when she stopped insulin and look through the years. She even got up to 188 on one day.I did. Trixie's blue numbers are mostly very low. I had something else going on last night and so his 120 really got me down. Sorry... don't mean to be negative.
