MORNING LL!!! AMBG 56, wow my boy is such a show off huh? I was really surprised to see such a low number!!! I am so happy and proud of Scrabble!!! He said the full moon party was a blast and he got to see all of his friends and even met a few new one's!!! I hope everyone has a great day today! I am going to go to bed in a bit but will visit condo's when I get up. I must say this is so nice to be able to go to bed and not have to wake up to an alarm to test him!!!

Hey Scrabble! It was great seeing you at the party last night. Thanks for the tips on how to get a lower bg!! I'll be practicing!! Chew lots of Chicklets today, man, and enjoy another no-poke, no-shot day. Wow, that must be fantastic!

Way to do Scrabble. I am so happy and amazed at your little guy! I need to read the stickies, but how does "gum day" tie in with diabetes? I know it's OTJ;I am a little dense at times! confused_cat

Thanks everyone!!! Ann-you are not dense, I asked that question in a condo a couple of months ago, I was like what the heck are they talking about chewing gum?? LOL! Scrabble came and woke me up at 9 wanting to be fed, he danced around the bed until I got up. Was going to set up autofeeder today but I have to go into work tonight so I won't have time, guess it will have to wait for the weekend.
Sienne- I almost felt this morning like I was going to have to test him again in a couple of hours but then I was like uh he has no insulin so he can't go into hypo right?
Just so thankful for a wonderful start to the day!!!

YAY! Chicklets day! Well, i have to admit it - I too was clueless on the gum thing - but sure like the idea.

hey! hey! gooooooooooooo scrabble!!!

the story behind "chewing gum" in LL...

if memory serves me, "chewing gum" originated with kim/luck. kim was kind of nervous about taking luck off the juice, so she preferred to call it an "experiment". in typical LL fashion, "experiment" quickly became "spear-a-mint" as in spearmint... wrigley's spearmint gum.
luck "chewed gum" for 14 days! :mrgreen:

and so it began...

Happy Gum day 5!! And Ann don't feel dense. I used to think while I was scanning the LL list that gum day meant, so many days past a dental. :oops: I guess you can only laugh. :-D So don't feel bad.
My mother gets a kick out of our terms, and I enjoy sharing them with her. :mrgreen:

YAY! I am laughing about the gum day thing too because I had no idea what people were talking about either when I first got here, I thought the same thing as you Jan that it had to do with their gums! So finally I asked in a condo to figure out what the heck they were talking about!!! Lantus Land is great isn't it? We all learn from eachother which is awesome!
I am so proud of my boy, he has had a fabulous day!! Paws crossed that our trial continues going so well! Off to tbp in a little while, have a great night everyone!!
