Logan is still eating pretty well. We haven't seen any liquipoo in the LB since Tuesday so keeping our paws crossed that whatever was causing it has resolved itself. It may have been the food - maybe it was a little rich and it upset his tummy at first. We stopped the Clindamycin injections on Monday and he's now on oral clindamycin. Hopefully, that won't cause any upset.

Happy Fursday...wish it was Friday!

ETA: Logan usually hangs out in the living room at bedtime. Before he was sick, however, he would go and get in my bed when he was ready for bed. Last night, DH2B was still up after I went to bed. He looked around and realized that Logan had disappeared. When he came to bed, he found Mr Logan curled up next to me on his side of the bed. I did wake up and see him there - made me very happy. :mrgreen: Maybe I'll get my little snuggle bear back soon.

Awwww how sweet. I bet that put a smile on your face and warmed your heart. Sweet sweet Logan. Happy to hear he is doing good with eating and LB. We have our paws crossed over here too! Happy Fursday :mrgreen:

And those are the little signs that are absolutely priceless.
There IS light at the end of the tunnel and it sounds like those little baby steps towards better health are happening.

The bedtime cuddles, those rituals, can't ever be beat for happiness for everyone.

Looks like he's making his way back down...guess he likes yellow now. :mrgreen: He's still eating! He was due for the stimulant on Monday but we didn't give it to him so he's doing really well on his own.

Max did that last week although I did have to carry him there.
But at least he stayed. :-D
And again we see some yellows.
Logan is sounding very good.

I am pretty sure Shadoe hates that I do this but I am always watching her, looking for minute changes and twitches to indicate movement.

What I have noticed for her over the months is that how she looked and acted before when all pinks is how she is acting now when she has yellow and bloos. It's like pinks were comfy and the dips to the right numbers just felt oh so wrong and made her woozy. She could hardly wait to get back to Comfytown.

Over time, as more and more of the lower numbers inflicted themselves on her, she sort of realized HEY! These low numbers aren't half bad! :lol: I think as Mr. Logan dips his paws into the yellows, they will last a bit longer and he will start acting like they are A-OK!

And maybe now that he is feeling better, the foods are having some taste and he does not need any helpers. We can all relate to being sick and even the thought of food would make us want to hurl. Well, the big guy is finally coming around and that food may be looking pretty fine now!

Hey there. Does Logan get B-12 shots? I was just looking through my favourites for a link to something completely unrelated, but stumbled upon this very interesting discussion that I apparently saved a long time ago. Traci/Boomer may also want to check it out - don't think they have a condo? But they visit yours?

He doesn't currently get B-12 shots. His B-12 was >1000 when tested. Dr Lisa said that since he wasn't at the low end of normal (he was at the high end) she doesn't think they're necessary. She said we should retest him in about 6 months to make sure he's still in the normal range.

I think Traci/Boomer do normally have a condo, but I'm not sure.

Back to pink - his safe place. Still eating. Had some liquipoo at some point today.
