Darcy is home and VERY happy to be home. He's not eating yet though, so I may syringe feed him if he doesn't hurry up. He seems to have stayed in the blues today (I can't be too sure since he was at the vet and they usually just tell me one number per day). He stayed in the blues last night. I gave him some Ondansetron and Mirataz on his ear. I'll wait a little and then feed him if he doesn't eat.

NICE Mr D . Have you tried the sardines yet? I bought some more yesterday, Trader Joe's have some in water with no salt. We'll see what diva Mariah has to say about it, I'm trying to get the late cycle snacks as close to 0 carb as possible.

Darcy, celebrate your return home with some good troughing. Minnie confirms that sardines are GREAT. And high calorie, 160 in a can (she 'shares' it with Sam) though I am not sure they are great for digestive system either. Need to save them for a treat.

Be careful with your sardines though, Darcy. Minnie might even be able to cross the country and steal them from under your nose, she likes them THAT much. :bighug::bighug:

Hi Suzanne, just checking on you two. Darcy seems to be holding his own in the blues. I hope he is eating by now and feeling some better. Hope your back is doing better. Sending love and healing prayers to you both. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug: I hope tomorrow is a better day for both of you. :):cat:

He has been dropping low tonight even though he has eaten some HC food. Hours ago I got some low numbers. He is back down to 60 again on the premier meter and 50 on the ReliOn prime. I think I need to reduce insulin. Don’t know how much going back to sleep for a little while

Glad to see Darcy is still in the blues.I remember you saying he still couldn't walk that well. What did they say about that
Really nobody at the vet has said anything about it. I read on the felinecrf.org site that high phosphorus can cause weakness in back legs as it interferes with the nerve signal transmission. Also, I have been told that it could be diabetic neuropathy as well. I started Zobaline about five days ago.

Oh Darcy, take all the benefits of those fluids at the vet today...we want you home and eating and feeling better! :bighug:
