Thank you all, yesterday, for the kind thoughts and comments about Moses' trip today to the vet. I haven't been yet, I'm just about to give him a call. But it definitely needs to get done.
Just to let you know, my vet already "tested" the lump and found that it was just a cosmetic issue and that was when I was introduced to his possible diabetic diagnosis (which we know was correct  ). So the lump has been overshadowed, ew, and it's current golf-ball size leads me to make it a priority again. Although this vet has recommended no further treatment b/c having surgery would be risky to his heart.
I'm meeting a new vet today, that can either confirm or disagree on the surgery option. Honestly, I really really want him to be able to do the surgery, whether it's cancer or not. This lump will eventually impair my cat's quality of life. So I really want to be able to take it off. But, it's truly not worth it if Moses' heart could fail on the surgery table.
Ugh.
This is my verbal processing I guess. :? Now you can see more of my thoughts  I'll call the vet.
