Hi Marielle
Tyler will not let me brush his teeth
My vet recommended just using some damp gauze or a baby facecloth to wipe the teeth. No toothpaste needed
I did a search on our site and found this posted by one of our members
It's more cleaning and rubbing than brushing; I tried with different kinds of toothbrushes but he won't let me.
What works great for us is to take a piece of gauze, fold it making sure it's not too big for his mouth, damp with warm water; gently wipe his lips trying to reach his teeth with the gauze, at that point he'll open his lips and you'll have access to the teeth; at first just pass the gauze on the teeth, short and sweet and he'll get used to it; then you can start rubbing a little! ( at the beginning the gauze might even be dirty....!)
I use a roll of gauze that I cut the size I need; the pads are too thick !
