With alot of soul searching I have come to the conclusion that I need to cut back on the amount and frequency of my Loose Lips condos.... Life has just gotten way too busy. I know alot of folks read them, look for the photos and the stories. It has been over a year since Mannie has left us, and I just think that it is time for me to cutback. I Spend so much time writing those condos, none of which is really FD related, that I end up with no time to visit anyone, and I really do miss that aspect of life here in LL. So... for a while at least I want to spend more time visiting and less time writing. I still plan on being around, just less condos from me. I hope you guys understand.
So..... for ole times sake, here we go!
Good Morning LL!!
(Elsa - lots (!!) please! This bean is so sleepy...), and Happy Cheery Cherry Monday
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP, kitteh barista pilot!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is CHEERY CHERRY MONDAY!! Lola and Bug, aka Paw Prints Pizza, are making their cheery cherry pizza pies. It is after all Monday, and that is now tradition! Anybody up for a cherry pizza? so. well. anyways.
Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a VENTI Quad cherry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cherry whip garnished with candied cherry sprinkles and white chocolate curls. SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of cheery cherry and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized cheery cherries and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! We gots CHEERY CHERRY CHEESECAKE too! as well as cheery cherry frappes! I love cheery cherry Mondays.
I hope everyone had a great weekend. It was a great day for me yesterday. The weekend has been more than busy, what with the normal Caturday errands and chores, with a family outing to the sheep farm, and then an unexpected family visit on Sunday. Five days of nonstop go go go! By the time Sunday night rolled arounf I was toast, burnt toast.  I was grateful to be able to get a few walks in amongst all that chaos. They sure did help in jump starting the engines.
Here's what I wrote last night about the day: "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. We got busy! well, sort of busy! We did not get all that rain that they said was headed this way. It was windy, nasty clouds at times, and only one downpour about 3PM, which lasted maybe 10 minutes. Not alot of sun either, but all in all, an OK day. I did make a morning walk to the shore at Meadowdale through the woods, and then down to the pier at Haines Wharf. Tide was out enough that I could make it there. Sure was coldish and windy. shessssh! That nice blue sky I saw when I headed on out sure didn't last too long. Clouds started moving in as soon as I got there. No matter,s till had a decent time, and at least it was outdoors. Erin and Jason and the boys stopped by about 3 or so. They had been at a birthday party for a niece, so came to visit after that. A nice surprise. Nice too that it made me sit, and just relax some. Never did get the house cleaned.... hanging out seemed like a much better option.
Duh...."
Normalcy in MusketeerVille!
What to say about the kitties.... They have been good kitties, and even Lola! Well sorta on Lola... Lola will always be Lola. Lola was once again my helper in the kitchen - loves to be involved with whatever is going on. Bug was fun yesterday. Normally when we have anyone over, even family that he knows, he is scarce, we rarely see him. Not yesterday! It was so reminiscent of Easter Sunday.  He spent alot of time on folks laps, primarily my DSIL's lap. just hanging out and chillin'. Elsa spent almost all of it outside on the deck or in the yard. She is so good, and does not wander anymore. Good girl! Lola was my helper again yesterday. I need to be careful when I water the house pan ts. I try to do this when she is off sleeping somewhere. other wise she views it as an open invitation to play with all that water, and check out eh dirt which seems to have gobbled up the water.  What a mess! Guess I can safely say: Normalcy in MusketeerVille!
Have a great day everyone! I'm not too sure what will be here today. If the weather checks out to be a nice as they say it is in Eastern Washington I may head on over there for some hiking. Paws crossed!
