With alot of soul searching I have come to the conclusion that I need to cut back on the amount and frequency of my Loose Lips condos.... Life has just gotten way too busy. I know alot of folks read them, look for the photos and the stories. It has been over a year since Mannie has left us, and I just think that it is time for me to cutback. I Spend so much time writing those condos, none of which is really FD related, that I end up with no time to visit anyone, and I really do miss that aspect of life here in LL. So... for a while at least I want to spend more time visiting and less time writing. I still plan on being around, just less condos from me. I hope you guys understand.

So..... for ole times sake, here we go!

Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (Elsa - lots (!!) please! This bean is so sleepy...), and Happy Cheery Cherry Monday
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP, kitteh barista pilot!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is CHEERY CHERRY MONDAY!! Lola and Bug, aka Paw Prints Pizza, are making their cheery cherry pizza pies. It is after all Monday, and that is now tradition! Anybody up for a cherry pizza? so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a VENTI Quad cherry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cherry whip garnished with candied cherry sprinkles and white chocolate curls. SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of cheery cherry and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized cheery cherries and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! We gots CHEERY CHERRY CHEESECAKE too! as well as cheery cherry frappes! I love cheery cherry Mondays.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. It was a great day for me yesterday. The weekend has been more than busy, what with the normal Caturday errands and chores, with a family outing to the sheep farm, and then an unexpected family visit on Sunday. Five days of nonstop go go go! By the time Sunday night rolled arounf I was toast, burnt toast.  I was grateful to be able to get a few walks in amongst all that chaos. They sure did help in jump starting the engines. :-D Here's what I wrote last night about the day: "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. We got busy! well, sort of busy! We did not get all that rain that they said was headed this way. It was windy, nasty clouds at times, and only one downpour about 3PM, which lasted maybe 10 minutes. Not alot of sun either, but all in all, an OK day. I did make a morning walk to the shore at Meadowdale through the woods, and then down to the pier at Haines Wharf. Tide was out enough that I could make it there. Sure was coldish and windy. shessssh! That nice blue sky I saw when I headed on out sure didn't last too long. Clouds started moving in as soon as I got there. No matter,s till had a decent time, and at least it was outdoors. Erin and Jason and the boys stopped by about 3 or so. They had been at a birthday party for a niece, so came to visit after that. A nice surprise. Nice too that it made me sit, and just relax some. Never did get the house cleaned.... hanging out seemed like a much better option. :-D Duh...."

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   What to say about the kitties.... They have been good kitties, and even Lola! Well sorta on Lola... Lola will always be Lola. Lola was once again my helper in the kitchen - loves to be involved with whatever is going on. Bug was fun yesterday. Normally when we have anyone over, even family that he knows, he is scarce, we rarely see him. Not yesterday! It was so reminiscent of Easter Sunday.  He spent alot of time on folks laps, primarily my DSIL's lap. just hanging out and chillin'. Elsa spent almost all of it outside on the deck or in the yard. She is so good, and does not wander anymore. Good girl! Lola was my helper again yesterday. I need to be careful when I water the house pan ts. I try to do this when she is off sleeping somewhere. other wise she views it as an open invitation to play with all that water, and check out eh dirt which seems to have gobbled up the water.  What a mess! Guess I can safely say: Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone! I'm not too sure what will be here today. If the weather checks out to be a nice as they say it is in Eastern Washington I may head on over there for some hiking. Paws crossed!

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN cat_pet_icon

Re: 4/28 LOOSE LIPS: trails, visits.... and changes

You did have a crazy weekend, but a nice kind of crazy. Cleaning can always wait. It would already be dirty again anyway. Have a great day Michelle!

Re: 4/28 LOOSE LIPS: trails, visits.... and changes

Hi guys .. haha, for some reason when you talked about watering the plants when lola was not around I instantly pictured you rolling from room to room like a thief in the night trying to go unnoticed  Glad you were able to get out for awhile over the weekend .. it's been very chilly here as well and now we have that dumb wind to deal with .. Hard to believe it's been over a year since Mannie left us .. I've enjoyed the daily condos from you and will enjoy them again when you have time to write up another one!

Re: 4/28 LOOSE LIPS: trails, visits.... and changes

HI Michelle! I know your condo must take a lot of time to put together. I'm sure everyone will appreciate the extra visits from you, and extra appreciate your condos when you do one:) It sounds like another busy weekend for you ;-) It's too funny on you watering plants when Lola is sleeping  . It's nice Bug was so social and that Elsa is enjoying her outside time like a good girl. I hope that you enjoy your day and get out for that hike, have a good one :-D

Re: 4/28 LOOSE LIPS: trails, visits.... and changes

Your condo has definitely been a joy to read and inspirational on the hiking. I do love the updates on the fur and grandkids. But it is indeed a lot of work and you must be so so busy. I hope you'll have time to post periodically and do look forward to your visits. :YMHUG:

I love the flower pics you posted today - this part of spring is so beautiful. I guess it's almost a year for Bug and Lola too. It's great seeing how they've changed and fit into the household. Although in many ways Lola is still the same. But in a good way.

Re: 4/28 LOOSE LIPS: trails, visits.... and changes

We understand about the condos. I appreciate all of the time you've taken to keep writing them and will look forward to one when you have time. I'm sure everyone will appreciate your condo visits.

 on watering the plants when Lola's asleep. I can just see her having fun with all that water and wet soil. I hope you got your hike in today.

Re: 4/28 LOOSE LIPS: trails, visits.... and changes

Hey Michelle,
We will enjoy reading your occasional Loose Lips condos, and we will appreciate your dropping in to our condos for visits. We all know how busy your life is. So carry on and visit when you can.

Hugs to you, Nicholas and William, and scritches to Elsa, Bug, and Lola.

Ella & Rusty

P.s. to Elsa, Kitteh Barista: we look forward to your ~O) deliveries every morning. Coffee Cat has the best coffee!

Re: 4/28 LOOSE LIPS: trails, visits.... & changes ~ HIKE PIC

Hi Everyone! THX for all. I will continue to post, and right now the plan is to do a weekly condo, and see how that goes. The truth is is that I really did like doing them, so who knows... maybe that will win out in the end. ;-) For now I would like some time just to visit condos, instead of just reading the subject line. I need to figure out a way to link the Picassa photos to my signature too, or something, so that the photos are accessible, all of them, though just one link I wonder if that is possible? well, something to work on. Anyways - thanks for understanding. I won't be totally gone, I am so looking forward to reconnecting with everyone through your condos. :-D :-D :-D :-D

I hope you guys had a great day, Mine was awesome! A hiking day in Eastern Washington! We did well, sun for the most part, some clouds, maybe a high of 59. I think it was 62 maybe in Quincy. The drive over - ROAD TRIP - was great - had all kinds of weather including a nice snow storm over Snoqualmie Pass. That was fun. Snow as far as the eye could see, but only on the summit. That was a relief! The hike was great. I've always enjoyed the Ancient Lakes hike, 4 very pretty lakes there, Waterfalls too. I did the upper trails this time, to see if I could get any closer to the main waterfall. That was not really a go, but it does look great up there. I have read that there is another trailhead that comes in from the water fall side. I will have to go back and find it. It looks really great . I didn't run into any rattlesnakes this time, but did find a green one, no clue what kind he was. We gave him a wide berth just in case. : ) Had a great time, didn't get sunburned, and did about 8.2 miles. WooHOO!

Hi Ella - many thank yous! I think I will try a weekly post, in addition to the daily visits I still hope to continue. THX for those hugs, and scritches. They shall be delivered - ASAP! :-D
Auntie Ella! Coffee Cat coffee rocks! as does Paw Prints Pizza! We shall be there, every morning. I SWEAR! ~~ Elsa, kitteh barista

Hi Carla - THX!! I enjoyed them too, just wish I had more time... well we will see how this goes and who knows I may be back sooner than later! I so agree on Lola and the watering... shesshhh!

Hi Wendy - Many thx! I am hoping to do a weekly post, I think that should work. Maybe more if there is time. Thank you for the hike comments. That is appreciated. :-D THX on the pics too, it is so pretty out right now. And yes - a year for Lola and Bug in May. How times flies... They sure have fit in well here, Mannie steered us well. I so agree on Lola - she is, and probably alwyas will be, one crazy kitty.

Hu Rachel - Thx, I hope for once a week, I think that will work well. paws crossed! and that Lola! Funny she heard me anyways and woke up, just in time to help water. THX on the rest. I did get out, had a great time!

Hi Devon - Oh HAHA! That kinda is what it is like... sneaking around to amke sure she doesn't see or hear me.  Bummer on your wind! That has finally left us, at least for now. THX so much on the condos. Appreciated!

Hi Melissa - I agree! Cleaning can ALWAYS wait!  This is true! it will only get dirty anyways. Lola is shedding something fierce, and it doesn't take long for Lola fur to eb everywhere.

Hi Amy - THX - I think so too on Bug - it really is nice to see. I did get that hike in, had a wonderful time. It is one of my fav places to go.

Just a quick note to wish all a great day.

Elsa says to let all know that her espresso machines are up and running and that she will be out the door pronto. Bug and Lola have tuna pizzas in the oven: it is, afterall, tuna Tuesday! Best get those orders in!
