Yes.
In my case, it only rotates twice a day. Once at 630am (2 hrs before AMPS) it goes to an empty slot. After testing I put his food in that empty slot. Then again at 630p it rotates to another empty slot, and I put his food in there after testing.
Mr Kitty tends to eat most of his food upfront, which so far hasn't been an issue. But it means that if he does go low and I'm not around, he may not have enough food to bring him up (or he might not be hungry). If I think that will be a problem, I'll put a small amount in at AMPS, set it to remove the food (go to empty slot) at +2 or so, give it back at +3/4, or whatever I need to do to feed the curve. It sounds much worse than it is! Takes 30 seconds to do.
Interestingly, since he's been in better numbers he actually does a much better job feeding the curve on his own, so to speak. The few times he's gone low (sub 70) he's eaten a bunch of LC on his own
