My smoke alarm decided 4am was the best time to go off, so I got a test in at 430am, +8 from PM: 169. And now he's only 160 AMPS, so no increase for 2-4 more cycles... I don't know that this is what has been happening the past few days because he has been high AMPS, unless he's bouncing at night? I have a libre I can try, I'm just not sure how well he will tolerate it. I have reviewed the website for cat and dog freestyle application, and still don't think he will let it stay on him and I won't be able to do it long term. Is it even worth it to do a spot check with one device? I know it'd fill in the blanks for nighttime but again, I can't do it long term, so unsure how helpful that info would be.

He very well may be bouncing from lower numbers overnight giving you a high amps.
The only way to know is to test 🤷‍♀️
You could try the Libre just to get some data.
Or, set an alarm and get a few tests here and there.

Once you move your time around it should get easier at least to get a before bed test.
The more data you have, the more you will understand what’s happening.
