4/25 Jack: 254@amps, 180@+2- IM/testing update

Not sure who will see this today, I couldn't get on the Board yesterday, and today is either really slow, or not loading properly. I'm sure it's being worked on- I just have no patience for technology- especially technology I've come to rely so heavily on.

Anyway, Jack had quite the day for himself yesterday- - paid for it at pmps last night, but can't complain about today so far Hoping to get some overnight tests in tonight.

I decided to make an appointment with his regular vet for tomorrow @1:30pm EDT; he will have an overall body exam, and a senior blood panel done (it's been 5 months since his last one, so I think it's a good first step.) I figured if I give them $70 for the appointment and the ~$200 for the blood panel maybe I can get a real conversation with the vet about testing for Cushing's and retesting the IGF-1. I can also speak to them in person about the price/procedure for the tests and schedule the appointment. I'll also ask the vet if she is willing to do a telemedicine consult with either Cornell or U.Penn. The Cornell one is cheaper but I don't specifically see endocrine listed on the website- going to email them later today to find out. I will also ask her about a local ER clinic who has a vet on staff that 'has a particular interest in' IM, and has trained under one, but probably doesn't have enough edu credits to claim to be one. The budget is busted already, so every penny counts right now.

Looked briefly down the forum list at everyone's titles- pages won't load for me though--hope all are well and kitties all surf safely.
