Velcro and I are enjoying our OTJ status. Last BG check was ~4/16 and got a 71.

Velcro is happy that is it getting warmer so she can sit in the open window and, on rare occasions, go outdoors. She still hates civie and hisses and smacks him all the time. He doesn't seem to care though so I don't toss her in the time out room much anymore.

Gosh! I just don't know what to say. We are so lucky to be non-dramatic around here that her updates are kinda boring. :P

(I'm still in school. My first year back will be over at the end of May. I'm liking school for the most part but sometimes going back to school after 10 years is a b****. Might get all A's this semester so I'm excited about that. Still no regular work but I'm trying to work out how to be a dementia sitter so caretakers can take a break. Did one job a few weeks ago, hopefully they will call and let me sit again for them.) :D
 
Good for you and your success...As huh? Wow! That's great. And it is nice to read a report on Velcro that you consider "boring" cause that means that there are no major issues and concerns! Reason to celebrate! Congratulations to youz and than you for coming by and telling us of your happinesses! :YMHUG:

Velcro could never be boring, but there is a lot to be said for no drama. I'm with Helene - be sure to add me to your list of (not so distant) future clients.

Nice to see you guys drop by Lantus Land and give us an update, boring as it is, lol! It's great to see that Velcro is doing so good!!!

Kudo's to you for going back to school after 10 years! Gosh, I graduated in 1974 (yep, i'm past 50 so you can add my name to your list of future clients, lol) and I don't think I could even imagine entertaining going back to school...yes, I know it's over 30 years compared to your 10, but I don't think I couldn't have gone back after ten either, lol.

hmm, I tried to go back to school after only 3 years out, but couldn't quite bring myself to do it. That was a long time ago now, so I guess that means I won't be going back.

I'm glad to read a nice, boring update. :mrgreen:
 
After several years of way too much excitement, I've adopted the mantra, "Boring is good." I'm very happy that your bored and that school is going so well.
