Nova is doing ok.. She DID say hi to me this morning when she saw me.. not much opinions since but we were all up until about 4 hours ago.. so everyone's pretty tired.
Hitch is having a problem with his eye
. For the last day or two I have noticed it watering and him having eye goopies but late last night we were playing and I saw the inside corner.. very red.. later in the night he started having problems keeping that eye open.. so we all stayed up late and hung around with him.. thought maybe it would get better this morning but when I woke up I looked over at him and it is much worse.. called the vet right away.. we're going in, in 1.5 hours.. amazing for them to sneak us in.. saturday is by far their busiest day..and that clinic is wildly successful.. rarely can you book a regular appointment in the same 2 week period.. at least that's what I hear them say on the phone when I'm there.. my kids seem to always get in pretty quick.. and they usually have to have specific staff lined up or external doctors brought in.. man I love that place.
Anyways.. I'm of course worried.. Hitch has CH.. so gets hurt all the time and is tough as nails.. isn't a complainer AT ALL..and he's starting to fuss a little bit.. he also has a rare immune system disorder.. so the idea that it's not just something in his eye and possibly an infection has me just wrecked.. aside from worry about the scary stuff.. the trivial also has me worked up.. I'm worried he's going to have to wear the cone.. I can't even imagine a CH cat functioning wearing a cone
..
Blah blah ramble ramble.. trying to kill time by whining..
