Logan seems to feel better today. He's eating pretty well so far. He ate a can of EVO 95% chicken/turkey this morning and 1/2 can of Instinct Rabbit this afternoon. He has major liquipoo, however. I hope it's the AB, but it's an injection so I'm not sure it would cause liquipoo if it's not going through the digestive track.

You got to get your paws on probiotics my friend! We are not going to be joining you in the liquipoo fanclub! Fortiflora is what a lot of people use.

ETA - c16 of 7.50U.... would you like to add the word dose to your SS to see if an adjustment is due? And... any chance you could get a bed time spot check too...?

Glad Logan is feeling better today....would love to keep hearing those wonderful words!
Max is coming by to pick him up for the No Reason Party tonight, right? Can't wait to see him. We have his throne all ready for him to watch the festivities. LOL And Raja is ready for guard duty too! Max and Raja take good care of him Kelly so don't you worry! :YMHUG:

Max promised to keep an eye on Logan amd make sure he does not get into the bad food.
He will also keep an LB nearby, just in case.
Hope it goes away soon Kelly.

Logan has had a pretty good day. He's eaten well and seems to be feeling ok. He is not liking the AB injections, though. We'll get pills when we go back on Tuesday. We do use fortiflora but it doesn't seem to do much besides encourage him to eat a bit. We're not increasing his dose right now - working our way down on the pred dosage.

I'm glad he's eating and feeling better. Liquipoo is no fun for anyone, though.

Oral vs. injection of AB isn't why it causes liquipoo. The AB may knock out the bacteria in the colon that aids in digestion and keeps things in a non-liquipoo state.

You might want to try a different probiotic. Cassandra recommended Renew Ultimate for Gabby. It has more bifidobacteria than most other probiotics and this is what gets killed off by ABs. I found it in the refrigerated supplement section at Whole Foods. I believe you want to give a probiotic 2 hrs after an AB.
