Well, it's looking like 4U is not the magic dose, either. I just can't find a good dose for this cat. It's either too high, and then she crashes several times in a row, or it's too low, and we go right back to the dose she crashed on (or higher).
It's so weird.
It would be nice to have even just a few weeks, or a month, where she had some steady blue numbers. I know their insulin needs change, but I honestly thought at the very beginning she might be the one to go into remission first, and now I'm just wondering if I can even get her close to stable. I hope these constantly high numbers don't start manifesting other problems.
Does there come a point when I just try to keep her in the yellows, knowing blue and green don't last, and seem to make things worse?
I should count my blessings she's relatively healthy otherwise! We will just keep plugging along!
