He really does love Levemir. Except for an occasional 200 number for whatever reason, he is staying in a nice range these days with a nice shallow curve (lots of greens and blues on his spreadsheet). I suppose I could push it further (would you?), but giving just the 3 units eliminates the nail biting of shooting on low numbers especially since Bill is home more lately and doing some of the insulin duties. He always seems to get a much more pronounced reaction with his shot technique.

Bill was presented with a 105 preshot the other day and didn't feel comfortable shooting the whole 3 units so shot 2.75. Didn't seem to make any difference in the following cycles - no shed emptying or anything.

Tigger is enjoying being outside more and the warm spring weather. Appetite good and he runs and plays and generally enjoys himself for being almost 15 (June) with no other apparent health problems. :)

P.S. funny thing is there wasn't really a big difference in his numbers from when we were shooting 3.5 units(?)

You're not kidding, Tigger really does love lev!

To me, yours is a perfect spreadsheet and if it were me, i would not muck with a thing. Shoot any more and i'd be afraid of T going too low. Shoot any less and i'm afraid you'll be thrown into the yellows (200's). The numbers represent a brilliant shallow curve, what more could you ask for?

In fact, everything looks so good (anti-jinx), that i have no choice but to Fed-Ex you Molly! Look for the box with the air holes poked through (i'll enclose enough Beef Eater freeze dried treats and rat toys for Molly and Tigger. I've been thinking Tigger needs a play date anyway).

Nicely done you!!

You are so funny Michele. :) Actually, I think Tigger needs a female in his life and Molly is just his age! He thinks he is in love with the neighbor kitty, Jack, who is only about two years old. Something wrong with that picture!

Thank you for the well wishes.

Your's is indeed the picture of the perfect spreadsheet, Tigger is doing wonderfully!
I am so happy for you both, he must feel great.
You arent that far away, may I send Pippin down to get sorted out too? He doesnt know any kitties yet but I think he would make great friends with Tigger.

I have been meaning to thank you for your post and to thank you for your continued support. It is so much appreciated.

LOL! Loved the picture and the caption! I am not so sure Tigger would be so tolerate though!

Hugs to you and your boy Pippin. Pamela

Pamela, sorry, somehow I missed this until it popped back up...

No, I wouldn't mess with anything. Numbers look great. Yep, it is very hard to tell any different between 3u and 3.5u numbers, but there might be slightly lower nadirs on 3u. I didn't look closely enough to count them or average them or anything. Certainly not enough of a difference to change anything now.

Deb, cute lol!

Just dragged W in here to see your ss and we're both incredibly impressed. Molly and I aspire to have a spreadsheet that looks like that -okay, truth be told, Molly's not really demonstrating her willingness, but i am, i am ;-)

Nicely done Pamela, Bill and of course that showoff cat of yours!

Tigger's spreadsheet is exactly what I mean about the right dose being able to hold them at or below say a 150 preshot. Thanks for the lovely example, Tigger!!

BTW, did I tell you my civie Tigget is named that because she's a brown "tiger" kitty, but since she's a girl I couldn't name her Tigger, so I named her Tigg"et", like Tiggette. But that's too hard to spell!

Oh gosh, poor Will being subjected to that! ;)

Well there is definitely an added advantage in being able to be home everyday. I couldn't have done that a few years back with work. So that helps.

The numbers are far from perfect, but we are in a comfortable place right now....anti-jinx.

No, I didn't know that! I always wondered about her name. That makes sense! I like the pronunciation of "Tiggette". I thought it was more like Tig-"get", which was nice too.

I pronounce it to rhyme with widget or ribbit, so it sounds more like Tiggit than Tig-get.
