Sorry for the late posting. I decided to go btb after her shot because she wouldnt eat. Thought I would go off the assumption that if she was starting to drop she would wake me with her silly howling at the water bowl. +2.5 showed me she only dropped a little. Problem is...still wont eat. :sad: Looks like we may have to baby food it before I head out in an hour or so. I think her not eating is more GI related (needs to poop, gas, late on tummy meds, etc). I certainly hope she picks it up, or we may have some problems. Potentially I see an appy stim in the future. Maybe she is just holding out for some of Stu's cooking later on at the OTJ party (those things just keep going one right after another, dont they! :mrgreen: )

I was awaken this a.m. at normal alarm time by a cat walking all over me! I had mixed feelings about it, since I had only gotten a few hrs of sleep AND was moving shot time fwd a bit . Still, it is not something that happens often, so it was very nice.

Recap of Yesterday:
AMPS-375 (pred, ate well before work +kibble when gone)
+2-355
+8.5-395 (not eating)
+10.5-445
PMPS-406 (few licks baby food for amy, kibble gone when I got home from work)
+6-246 (1/4 can fancy feast)
AMPS (+12.5)-206 (pred, not eating, no food overnight)
+2.5- 183 (not eating)

Sienne, if you wanted to/had time to plug in numbers on ss today that would be awesome. Tonight or tomorrow I should have a chance to add details. The dose is sk2.0 If you dont, thats okay - I can work on it later. Thank you soooo much!

Hi, Carolyn & latte!! Nice drop for Latte& you too of course! Wishing Latte some eating angels & a wonderful Wednesday! I empathize with not having an eager appetite, it is scary!! Come on Latte…. EAT! You need to maintain your purrrrrfect figure!! :-D

I couldnt ger her to eat a darn thing AT ALL this a.m.
The +4 is her pred peak.

She of course has food out.

I am just beside myself. The only reaso she could be this high so fast from a bounce is if she went way too low. Nd I dont mean in the 80' or 90's.

She has only had a few tsp of baby food all day. No water, nothing when I was gone. A few licks of baby food this morning.

I should not have laid down and assumed she would eat this a.m. I should have persisted and given an appetite stimulant after an hr or so past insulin. Should not have assumed she would eat if she was too low while I was gone.

Tonight I have to give her an appy stim NOW, with these numbers. If it even works, she will only eat kibble making her go higher.

I can see a good part of her 3rd eyelids so she is having some gi distress.

I cant believe we are almost 24hrs with now food. I feel sick myself. And, extremely helpless.

Sorry. Gonna give the stim and lay down for an hr. If she is not eating I have to syringe feed tonight. Ive promised not to do that to her, but we have to make it through the weekend somehow and then I can re evaluate her situation.
 
I hope it works for you her....sending hugs to you across the miles...you poor sweeties.
At least you know you can get food into her with the syringe, but I wish she would eat on her own.

(((((Carolyn)))) I am sorry you are dealing with this again. But don't beat yourself up either. I hope that appy stimulant works. Praying for you and Latte :YMHUG: cat_pet_icon
 
I don't know that I agree that Latte necessarily dropped low. If you look at some of the other days on Latte's SS (e.g., 4.16), the numbers went from yellow to pink. Her tummy may be upset, but the numbers don't have to mean there was a drop.
