Morning LL!

Most of Ps are in place...just missing one. Happy and hungry this morning. Still digging Grammy's Pot Pie so I ordered a case of that too. Haven't tried that one out on the other kitties because of too low of supply.

It may have passed by now and everyone may be getting along but for future possible needs I've also used vanilla to integrate new kitties and re-introduce after vet visits. Also, when Tugger came to Germany long after the other two had been brought over. They were like strangers and we had to re-introduce as if they were.

The Vanilla Trick is one I learned on another cat forum a number of years ago. You put a bit of vanilla in a bowl of water, dip a wash cloth in it and wring it out, then wipe EACH cat in the house down (re-dipping as needed) with the vanilla scented cloth. You may need to do this a few times over the day unless you get all 7 in the same room at the same time. I'm not sure how long the scent will stick around on them.

As it was explained to me, the vanilla makes everyone smell the same. Like a litter of kittens I guess? Anyway, it helped us then as well as when I brought Bella and Echo in last year (though Echo was a harder sell, his empty eye sockets freaked the big cats out for months) so I thought I'd mention it just in case.

What a beautiful SS you have Six. Really cool colors, nicely regulated kitty.

Hi, Amy & Six!! Grammys Pot Pie, eh? Hmm.. Maybe I will buy some.. Heck, I try everything else suggested! Geez….. although Baby does not like Cowboy Cookout...

Just posted in health but this place sees more traffic...

Lyle's flare up appears to be continuing after a good couple of days. Vomit twice this evening. Gave pepcid. No fluids. I forgot the fluids on Saturday...thought I would be safe until his follow-up visit 4/25 (stupid me). Temp 102.4. Talked to vet a few minutes ago. Dropping off first thing in the morning for fluid treatment - check - will swing by after work to get him loaded with fluids.

Have bupe and never given to him. Want to verify dose - .2cc (he's 15 lbs).

Thoughts?
