Good morning Friends,
Happy belated Easter and Passover greetings.
Spring seems to be here...daffodils and forsythias seem to be in crisp bright yellows as never before. Or perhaps it seems so after a winter being what it was.
Azalea doing ok. We've done quite a few Vetty visits since last condo. Reg Vetty, dental specialist, and two visits to new HV whom Azalea obliges by accepting acupuncture (this is big yay, being that she's refused several attempts over the years by our "house call" HV).
Won't go into long details about how we came to be where we're at. The short of it is that new b/w (under light sedation) and snap test for FelV, fiv and heart worm were done on Good Friday 4/14/17. I added those results in her labs tab in Sootie's spreadsheet. Anemia again, etc. also she tested neg for FelV and heartworm, but "faintly positive" for FIV. Although it may explain a lot if the test is indeed accurate it's a shock with a lot of trying to sort out when (how long ago) and how the exposure happened.
Sorting through a lot of reading to find what additions or changes will best support her. Had already bumped up her probiotics, vit b's and immune support anyway. So, we just take it a day at a time, like everything else in the Universe.
On a more pleasant note, Azalea likes her new HV and has accepted two acupuncture treatments already.
Here are a couple of photos from yesterday: the first was in the morning while she was on the piano preening herself after breakfast; the second during her second acupuncture treatment yesterday.
With love, hugs and vines from us all,
Sina and Sootie's Tribe
