yikes, how awful. hopefully walking and exercising when you can will work things out.
your poor mom - and poor you by default. I know the burden falls on you to take care of her. after your mom has had so many, i've been thinking and wondering if my mom had gotten another one after we had her treated for the first one. Nine years later and I still wonder if there was something I could've done differently. Hindsight . . . i'm glad you got your mom diagnosed and hope these stay away. Does she drink cranberry juice or take the tablets? I wonder if there is a human equivalent of cosequin. It's not only for neuropathy, it's supposed to strengthen the lining of the bladder (in cats) and help prevent UTIs. You might check on that one.
Looking great today Max!!
Getting in some good lagoon time, but that's far enough....time to come back towards shore a little!!
Might check with your mom's doctor on the cranberry juice
Coumadin removed the restriction against cranberries awhile back

With my own mom having dealt with anti-coagulation therapy (as well as a lot of other meds), I've had to deal with the restrictions on foods too
She still isn't supposed to have grapefruit but it's one of her all time favorite things, so her doctor lets her have some "once in awhile" (instead of every day for breakfast like she'd like) and we moved the medication to nighttime so she's not taking the pill at the same time she's eating the grapefruit
