The animal drama continues. Toothless popped her prolapse through the stitches. Took her back to the ER, they fixed her up and tried a different stitch.
Indy vomited after the Cerenia wore off. I gave him half a tablet at the 24 hr mark and he threw up shortly afterwards. While we were at the ER the vet said she would do a courtesy check on him to help give me piece of mind. So hubby went and grabbed Indy. She did an exam and a courtesy ultrasound. Said that everything looks good. He was a bit gassy and she could see the thickening of the intestines (but that she had seen much worse). So, she said the nausea and vomiting is more than likely a side effect of a bad IBD day. Gave him a cerenia shot and sent us home with some zofran pills.
The thing I hate about cerenia and Indy is that it seems to curb his appetite. So while he isn't vomiting, which is good, he isn't eating much either. We will see how today goes.
Hope everyone has a safe surf.
