Hi Everyone!

I hope you all are doing well today and those who need strength and healing find it in abundance. It's a bright sunny hot day here and may go into the 90's. Right now, it's still pleasant with a nice breeze though.

Racci started her reduction last night and is doing quite well so far. She had a meal at her pm +6 and another at her +10.5 and still managed to stay in the blue. I'm hoping she doesn't bounce after yesterday's 34, but she may yet. She seems to feel really good if mood is any indication. :-D She's just been a real sweetheart today and very happy.

Serryn, I think you were right about that shed action overnight. I had just fallen asleep for about an hour when she woke me at her +6, very insistent on eating. :) I couldn't get a test, it was all I could do to pull her food out of the fridge and warm it. I've made it a habit to get it all ready in her dish before I go to bed, wrap it, & put it in the fridge so all I have to do when half asleep is pull it out and warm it since I'm pretty stiff & really don't move very well when I first wake up. I did get a 10 that indicates she must have been pretty green tho.

We had a little excitement when my DDIL called scared to death of a hornet in the house, barricaded in the bedroom with the little one, asking DH to go over and rescue them. I'm scared of them too so he's the official nasty insect chaser. Luckily, we live only about 1 mile away so she gets to use him too. Needless to say, he put his shoes on and hopped in the car to save the day, and by the time he got there, the hornet was gone! It was funny. It reminded me of the comedy routine Jim Carey did of Mighty Mouse, singing 'Here I come to save the day....'

Re: 4/16-Racci-AMPS-176,+3-187,+5-210 bouncing?

Hmm, it looks like she's starting to bounce to me. Instead of going lower, she's going higher. Ugh! I had a feeling this might happen today in reaction to that 34. I have to say, with all the pancreatitis & illness going around, the not wanting to eat has me worried.

When a cat bgs go low sometimes they dont eat as much! Not to worry, bouncing is a normal reaction and dont get worried if he is doing this well..Hope your DSIL is all safe now!!
Hugs & Love from us!!

Hi Roni,

Do you mean being low or the bouncing is causing lack of appetite? She's been higher today and no appetite still. I think it could possibly be the heat. The past 2 days have been very hot. Today was near 90. I had to put on the AC and finally she started eating with some strong coaxing about 9:30 pm and she ate willingly after her shot tonight. The house was cool by then though.

Yes, my DDIL is fine, thanks. They just need to get a new screen door so they don't have this problem all summer.

Could be the heat, Vyktor's not so keen to eat (or move at all!) when it's really hot, or she could just be being a cat
