Hi Everyone!
I hope you all are doing well today and those who need strength and healing find it in abundance. It's a bright sunny hot day here and may go into the 90's. Right now, it's still pleasant with a nice breeze though.
Racci started her reduction last night and is doing quite well so far. She had a meal at her pm +6 and another at her +10.5 and still managed to stay in the blue. I'm hoping she doesn't bounce after yesterday's 34, but she may yet. She seems to feel really good if mood is any indication.
She's just been a real sweetheart today and very happy.
Serryn, I think you were right about that shed action overnight. I had just fallen asleep for about an hour when she woke me at her +6, very insistent on eating.
I couldn't get a test, it was all I could do to pull her food out of the fridge and warm it. I've made it a habit to get it all ready in her dish before I go to bed, wrap it, & put it in the fridge so all I have to do when half asleep is pull it out and warm it since I'm pretty stiff & really don't move very well when I first wake up. I did get a 10 that indicates she must have been pretty green tho.
We had a little excitement when my DDIL called scared to death of a hornet in the house, barricaded in the bedroom with the little one, asking DH to go over and rescue them. I'm scared of them too so he's the official nasty insect chaser. Luckily, we live only about 1 mile away so she gets to use him too. Needless to say, he put his shoes on and hopped in the car to save the day, and by the time he got there, the hornet was gone! It was funny. It reminded me of the comedy routine Jim Carey did of Mighty Mouse, singing 'Here I come to save the day....'
