Nothing exciting to report today. He may have a bit of nausea but I don't know if that is because he didn't want his chicken last night and it caused some empty tummy upset or if he was nauseous which caused him to not want the chicken. He was quite chipper this morning and wanted his salmon treats as I left for work again, so not too worried.

Hope everyone has a safe surf.

My anxiety is high today. Feel like there is something else that I am supposed to be doing for my babies (Indy in particular) but I suck too much to know what it is that I'm supposed to be doing. I mean FFS, Indy is 18, we must be doing something right. I have had animals pass away before. I lost my soul cat almost 3 years ago and I don't remember having this kind of anxiety.

Don't mind my rant, I needed to put it somewhere.

The alarm kept going off. Vet would like us to try .25u twice a day, .5u once a day or none to see how he does.
Whatever you decide, I think I've heard Wendy say that the once a day shot of Lantus can lead to a lot of bouncing. One cycle ends up being fine and then they go up in the next cycle because there's a loss of duration on the non-shot cycle. Something to consider.

*Nods* I know with a cat's metabolism they go through it faster than humans do. I'm tempted to do .25u twice a day and then if he is still setting off the alarm then trying no insulin.
