I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Xander is continuing the same pattern of very slow starts to eating in the morning, but exceeding his target calories by the end of the day. The end of day calorie results are great, its just the needing daily mirataz/morning ondansetron/more pickiness consistently that has me on edge. I'll give it some more time to see if it resolves, and then i'll reach out to the vet/consider doing an ultrasound.
He really isn't showing any other symptoms, as he's playing and being super cuddly, pooping mostly fine (a few harder pieces but also some really good ones) so i'm suspecting this is just his normal peak shedding appetite that i'm not used to managing with his diabetes. I'm hesitant to put him through the stress of another vet visit and tests when he's still doing relatively well overall and getting where he needs to be with a little regular medicine support. I'll give it some time and reassess.

If they would just tell us what’s up….😩
Sounds like a good plan and you watch him so closely.
I’m glad he’s eventually eating all of his food, of slowly (so stressful for us).

Hope you have a calm night 💕🐈🥰
