Trying to revive the Loose Lips thread that was popular in Lantus Land years ago :) The board archives shows the last Loose Lips thread was in 2020 and going back to 2014 but Loose Lips has been around way earlier than that, before 2009.

What is Loose Lips? It's a single thread that anyone can post to and just talk about off topic stuff, share news and celebrations, and anything else :) They were always a lot of fun. Loose Lips used to be a daily thread but I think a single CATurday thread to end the week would be fun :cat: Anyone can start a CATurday Loose Lips thread. Just check to see if one has already been started. If not, start one :) OTJ cats are always welcome :bighug: (we want Pookey cam! @Tim & Pookey) There are no rules other than be respectful to everyone, no hot topic discussions, and keep it clean.

Things are pretty boring here, not counting Leroy's craziness and issues :p All the rats are happily getting along :) There's a local fair coming up later this month that I'm looking forward to. I usually get most of my holiday shopping done from buying stuff from local vendors :D Besides the vendors part and kids' activities and other stuff, there's various animal activities (shearing sheep, oxen pulling demos, dog herding demo) and so many cute lambs ❤️‍❤️‍ Hopefully the weather will be good. Last year the weather was sunny and warm but for the two years before it was cold and rainy and just miserable to be outdoors.

Oh this is a great idea! I like it on a Saturday too.

We celebrated my sisters’ birthday this week, twin girls turned 23. They are still teenagers in my head it’s crazy how quick it goes by. They are both studying to be in the medical field, smart girls :)

Pookey is doing good, caught our lowest “pre-shot” ever the other day! I’m having a hard time waiting a week to test lol. His lower belly is pretty bald now so I’m trying to figure out my next move for that... I’ll come prepared with some fun pics next week :bighug:
 
That's a fun idea! I am alone with my son this weekend, he is going to go see the Minecraft movie again with 8 of his friends (they are all 17 and 18) and I am considering going along, but hiding somewhere in the back, to see what it's all about :cool: Or maybe I'll just enjoy a movie at home. We'll see!
I came back from a few days in France early this week, it was great to be with my mom and I enjoyed a week of spring, too, before coming back to Minnesota's "we're almost there, any day now but not quite" end of winter!

Is he stressed? That's what our vet suggested at first when Bella's belly (try saying that, lol) was bald. That happened for the first time in 2020 when the kids were home all the time. You can see it a little bit there, at worst it was all pink and smooth ;) and then we figured out it was probably allergies since it was always the same time of year, late spring, and Zyrtec seemed to help. I hope it stops for Pookey!

Where in France did you go @cecile & bella ? I've never been there. One of my cousins has a condo in Nice with her French-American husband. I think the husband still has relatives still living in France.

I went to Lyon. I was born there, in Lyon, moved to Orange in Provence when I was 6 years old and came back to Lyon for college and med school. The last 5 years before moving here (98 to 2003) I lived in Nancy, in the NE part of France, close to Germany.

Aww look at her :bighug: glad you made it back from your trip!

Idk what he’d be stressed about, I have been home a lot more (sick of me?), or maybe food related stress with the feeding schedule? Or arthritis related but he’s still running and playing when he wants…

I know, that's what I thought for Bella as well, I mean, does she look stressed on this photo? She weighted probably 13 pounds then :)
It is so great that he is running and playing!
 
Leroy still has a bald tummy and leg from the ER trip months ago:rolleyes:

It's spring but feels more like winter. Too cold and rainy :( It might warm up next week.

Where are you, Colleen? I thought you lived in California. Here today it was 70 degrees and we even got some sun. I cleaned up my garage and cut down my Christmas tree which was still on the deck, it looked quite sad.
I am editing, you are not Coleen, that's SmallestSparrow. Sorry. :woot:

Oooooo I want to hear more about the rats! Do they get along with Leroy? Or do you have to keep them separated? I second Pookey cam!
 
The rats don't seem to care for either cat. I have the huge rat cage in the living area. The cats and rats can see and smell each other and no one is bothered. The most recent dog is too short to see into the cage so the rats don't exist to him :p Another dog is afraid of the rats. Then there was the dog who was totally fascinated by the rats and just sat in front of the cage to watch them :D The rats do come out for play time. I just let them roam the sofa. I don't have space for a playpen. The cats usually stay away while the rats are out. Leroy actually got onto the sofa last night while some of the rats were out:facepalm: The rats just scurried behind a throw pillow while I got Leroy off.

@Brianna & Xander feel free to post those AI cat pictures in Loose Lips :D CATurday Loose Lips can run into Sunday.
 
Rat TV made me laugh too.
My kids had a goldfish and some tiny fish in a small tank when we adopted Bella, she would sit in front of the tank and watch them for hours. We called it fish TV :cat:
