punkin's 4/7 condo
i'm only 2 days late getting a condo up for the little buddy!
yesterday:
amps 252
+4/59
+4.5/41
+5/54
+5.5/34
+6/59
+6.5/55
+9/136
pmps 269
+4.5/157
my son tested punkin during the day for me yesterday, and learned that baby food is NOT the high carb gravy that i was saying to give punkin! fortunately, when punkin's numbers kept dropping he searched harder and found the can with gravy. i'd called DH to check in with our son, because i wasn't where he could call me back. DH knew what to do and directed the son to the "chicken with gravy cat food" not "chicken and broth baby food". it was right in the front of the cupboard, it wasn't like i had it hidden!
but all is well on that front.
we dragged punkin with us for the family easter hoo-haw over at the coast. he tolerated it fine, spending most of the time underneath the driver's seat. until punkin became diabetic, i really never realized how portable he could be.
i talked to the veterinary dentist yesterday who said there is a veterinary anesthesiologist that she has worked with before who could assist in a cleaning. she agreed that an echocardiogram beforehand to make sure punkin's heart can handle things is the way to go. apparently there is a veterinary cardiologist in town, so following through on this is on my to-do list for today.
my heart goes out to Tena today. we understand the grief.
and carolyn, you know we're all cheering for Big Mac and looking for updates on our favorite cheeseburger!
