WCR: I think the sneezing is getting better. I did hear her sneeze about 3 times last night, but they didn't sound as congested as they were. Fingers crossed! Otherwise, she is a happy kitteh.

TBP is busy, have to study tonight and hopefully I can talk vetty-bean into RX'ing lev for her.

Oreo, there's nothing up there to see! All the fun is down on the lower floors. Blue is having a good sale today, I hear. 2-for-1 catnip toys, and free tuna patties!

We have been on Levemir since mid September (after 6 weeks on Vetsilin grr_red) and I find this is an intersting article http://petdiabetes.wikia.com/wiki/Levemir

I have ordered from the Canada Drugs Online and your vet can fax the prescription right to them...

Raja had elevated numbers at the beginning and was on a smallish dose than her brother Shadow...but she went OTJ on Dec 5th. I originally went with the Levemir cause i read somewhere that it didn't give a stinging sensation when injecting it. I believe that CD and Big Mac also used Levemir....there are so many people using it for their kitties. I do believe Monique and Spooky used Lev too.
What do you think?
I just went recently to my vet and just asked for the prescription. I gave her some printed information on it and she wrote the script although she had never heard of it. Let me know how it goes...good luck....I was nervous cause I know they had only used Vetsulin at my vet office...and know they use something else. But I got the prescription and that's all i cared about. I ordered the 5 flex pens and use the syringe with those.

Thanks for the info Pat. I've got one more unopened cartridge so when I open that one I'll start trying to get the Lev pens.
