Debbie, you were right, I was off at my 11am check; fixed original post #1/topic title.
PMPS was at 4:30 and was 148. I decided to give him .5 unit at that lower number. I will test him again at 7pm before we go up to bed.
Mel, I don't think I would give him any insulin if he was maybe 120 or less? The other day I did not give him a shot when he read 147 and he went up from there because of it. That was a morning reading, as since I leave for work about 1 hour and 20 min after we get up, I don't have a big window. On a regular Sat or Sunday when I don't work stock at Disney, I have more time from the 6am wake up call until I leave to be at work at 11 or so. I work 5am to 1:30pm, so I should be home at around 2:30 to monitor his afternoon progress, and push his time back to 5pm shoot.
