I had to make such a hard decision this morning. Marvin chest kept filling with fluid, it would fill right back up within a few hours. Last time they tapped him they got about a cup and a half of liquid out. Even with that they still could not see his heart in the Xray. I could't sleep after the last call at 3:30am, so I went to see him, hold him, hug and kiss him. It was so hard, he looked better, he purred for me, even snuggled me, which is not in his personality to do. They explained it was temporary, he would need to stay in the oxygen cage, and based on the ups and down and how quickly the fluids came back prognosis were not good. So I lovingly I hope made the right choice for him.
Marvin I miss you already, you were an amazing unique cat. Thank you for being there for me, for fighting the diabetes and acromegaly, you went through so so much and came out a winner, I think you did that just for me. I will forever love you and remember your strength and how loadly you purred. Your with your brother dog Laddie now, I am sure he greeted you and will show the ropes up there on the other side. I still feel you near me, I even heard you meow in the car on my way home. Rest in peace my little Marvin. Hugs and kisses forever.
I just want to thank everyone who supported Marvin and was there for me two years ago when Marvin was dx with diabetes and then Acromegaly. Special thanks to @Wendy&Neko from Marvin and I for taking every step with us during the Acromegaly diagnosis and bring Marvin to remission by trying Carbogaline. Marvin would have passed 2 years ago with out you. Thank you Wendy..... and FDMB....
