Skooter's we have poop condo! 03/05
Skooter ate all his breakfast this morning, lets hope he keeps it down! I will be working from home again today so I can keep an eye on him.
The only thing that concerns me now is his left front foot is where they put the IV/catheter and his right front foot and paw looks about twice the size. I am wondering if that could be from the extra fluids they gave him? Needless to say, I will be keeping an eye on it, it does not seem to bother him any. Hopefully the "swelling" or whatever it is, goes down, or I will bring him back in tomorrow to his regular vet.
Amazing what getting rid of that icky ol poop can do for his BG numbers. That 170 is after NOT getting insulin last night. I stuck with the 0.25, as I wasn't sure what he would keep down food wise today. I might give the 0.25 a few cycles to see how it goes to see if I really need to go back to the 0.50 or if that was because of his constipation.
A new kind of poop watch is taking place now, as we just have to make sure he keeps going as needed.....
Thank you again for all the support we have been given.....I cannot express how much it means to me.
Let's see what today brings!
