Got her to eat a bit at bedtime and again at 6am with a lot of work applying Nulo all over her mouth.

AMPS will not eat, have given the L but dithering on the R so far. Tried pilling again, I just don't have enough hands to keep her mouth open long enough to pop the pill in with or without piller. Had a brainwave to coat it with Nulo to help it slide down once it's in.

After dithering I gave her the 0.5u R @8:40. I know it is meant to be with the L but I was second guessing everything since she won't eat then decided it will be easier to get honey on her gums if needed and it seems like she's dying before my eyes anyway.

Oh, no. Don't say those words! You will be taking her to the vet in a little less than two hours for some more help. I bet she will start eating again today. Her appetite seems pretty variable.

I'll be honest, I am torn by the conflicting advice I am getting here and from the vet. Vet says When blood glucose is running >300 and appetite is picky such that increasing her Detemir is not comfortable to give, ok to give 1U SQ once every 4 hours, or up to every 2 hours for more severe elevation [note: except numbers run lower on the Freestyle meter so I'm using ~250 as my number] vs guidance here is to give with the L shot. 250-300 0.5 R, 301+ 0.75 R and work up to figure out. Both make sense but I don't feel qualified to decide which to follow and the stress is doing a number on me, which surely isn't helping Minnie.

I do know that she is not getting any better. Off to the vet and pick up the mini melts shortly.
 
Sixth cycle after the greens, could still be a bounce. If she comes down towards the end of the cycle or tonight, that will confirm it.

50 points down by +3 today. Not a bad start for R.

So low numbers is low numbers, and I'd be worried about them whether it's the Levemir or the R giving them, especially if she's not eating enough. R can drop hard and fast, Levemir is much more gentle. I just don't understand the vet's logic, until we know if 1 unit is the right dose. And there have been times at the vet clinic when it was too much insulin.
 
They kept her in the hospital. Dehydrated, not eating, low potassium, high ketones. Possible esophogeal feeding tube. Putting a Freestyle Libre on her.
