I will start getting tests during the PS cycle. I usually give her a snack at 2am, which is +5 to smooth her out but maybe I should start testing at that time. It's difficult to test in the middle of the night but I will do it.

You need not wait til +5 to test in the PM cycle. A test between +2 and +4, depending on your bed time is fine. Do you have the flexibility to advance your shot time to 6 or 7 am/pm so you don't have to stay up very late to test?

I'll try that. We have wonky schedules that fluctuate so sometimes we are up late and sleep in and others we go to bed early and can get up early. I've tried 6, 7, 8 and 9 so far and have not been able to get a perfect balance. That may be part of my problem getting her to stabilize.:(

So if I take a test at +4 and she is low, then I give a snack and see how she is when I wake up? Or how do I use the post PM dose to help regulate her BG?
