I drew up her insulin for the time I am gone. I drew just on the other side of the line for 1 unit.
I will increase her once a shoot a number on Monday pm.

back in town. +9 = 279. Going up to 1.25 tonight.
Surgery friday.
Vet recommendation; full meal and full insulin night before surgery, 1/2 meal in am and 1/2 dose of insulin the day of surgery....
any thoughts?
I have always thought no food for 8 hours prior to OR.

When Neko had dentals, her dental specialist said 1/3 of meal in the AM and 1/2 dose of insulin. See the table in the second post here for diabetics undergoing anaesthesia, Info on Dental Procedures (including pictures) Looks like your vet is up to date on latest protocols.
