Good morning!

Yesterday
AMPS=207 (s1u); +1=234; +2=211; +9.75=178
PMPS=191 (s1u); +2.25=212; +5=220
Today
AMPS=191 (s1u); +1=214; +2=211; +7.5=193
PMPS=227 (s1u); +1=225; +2.5=209
Lucy is still mostly in yellow since the new cartridge yesterday morning, but at least I'm seeing some blue numbers.
Hopefully her number will improve soon.
Lucy's appy is decent this morning.
Things I've been thinking about beside higher BG:
- Why Lucy's phosphorus level is low? She was at the lowest end of the reference range at the last b/w.
I know it's a good thing, but aren't CKD cats supposed to have a high phosphorus level?
Is it still better to feed her low phosphorus food?
- If she has a kidney infection, but not lower urinary tract infection, can urine culture detect?
If not how do they diagnose kidney infection for sure?
- Why Lucy's WBC has been so high? Maybe there's something other than pancreatitis and IBD? She's had pancreatitis and IBD for years.
It's since last year the WBC has always been high. Why?
- I'm worried about Ginger's high blood pressure, but checking at the vet doesn't do justice because she's so scared at the vet.
Should I buy a sphygmomanometer? Can I afford some type of blood monitoring machine? Maybe an infant cuff?
I'm seeing the vet on Sunday, so I'll ask her some of these questions, but I'm also trying to find some answers online.
It's making me @-) @-) @-) @-) @-)
I hope everyone's having a nice day!
