Good job shooting. Work it Cierra. I hope you get a chance to catch up on your sleep. Going forward we have a format for posting the subject. Here’s how your post would look.

3/23 Cierra AMPS 472

Since it was decided yesterday to shoot .50 I would not write seeking advice for dose. Had it not been decided you would start the subject with a question mark, write as I did and add dosing advice.

Does this make sense? Add your +2 bg to the subject if you need help.
 
I would stay with the 0.5 units twice a day Din for 7 days unless Cierra drops under 90, in which case you would reduce the dose. The 0.5 unit dose brought her down nicely last night.
You have TR in your signature, but because you are feeding some dry food, you will need to follow SLGS method.
You will see the yellow stickie about dosing methods at the top of the lantus page.
I would print the dosing methods if you can, so you can see them and refer to them.
You will need to change the TR to SLGS in both the signature and the SS please.

There is no need for you to write all the BGs in the remarks column of the SS unless there is a problem. As long as you are writing them into the SS columns, we can see them. Use the remarks column to write what and when you feed Cierra and how she is feeling.

It will take a few days for the depot to fill and for us to see the full effect of the 0.5 unit dose. So far she is looking good.
How is she eating today?
I hope you have managed to get some more rest.

Hi Din just in case you don't know how to add any other tests after the AMPS 472 look to the right ,tap on Thread Tools ,then tap on Edit Title add your tests and then you can continue with your PMPS number.

Tap on your name up top ,then signature and replace the TR to SLGS then tap save.
And on your spreadsheet just replace the TR with SLGS

When you do a post everyday you just have to link your previous days post to it :cat:

Hi Tiff sorry for late reply, Yes I understand it Tiff , I thought same subject will make it easy for you all to find me. Can I edit the Subject? I try to do it , but couldn’t find an option. Is anyone can PLEASE edit my subject for me .

yesterday it dropped so past, I gave her more wet food ( not high carb , I have to buy high carb wet food ) but gave her Royal canine Diabetes dry biscuits (dry biscuits is her favourite) . I was thinking to give Royal canine indoor dry biscuits if it get lower. +7 hours it dropped to 6.9 and then gradually increased. After +9 hours BG went up from 10.6 to 27 within 3 hours.

Kiara is doing well,now Cierra giving head hugs to Kiara. But Simba is still hizzing to both Cierra and Kiara.
Thank you Bron ,:bighug: I changed TR to SLGS now, Cierra is eating enough but I have to remind her:nailbiting::) .and asking dry food but now on I’m only giving her dry food if BG is dropping. I ask my husband to bring both FF Chicken Chunky and Gourmet Delights Chicken, but couldn’t find Gourmet Delights so he bought FF CHICKEN chunky, he will buy when do Saturday shopping at Woollies.

She really was not too low last night. The 100’s are quite safe. I’d avoid dog biscuits unless under 100. I understand your fear to see those numbers but it’s what we want to see. Just ask for help if dropping.

Okay I will not feed biscuts from now on unless its under 100. I will ask help if its dropping. Thank you Tiff :cat:
 
If biscuits are all she will eat then feed them. It’s most important he get enough food into her at this point. If eating well then try to find other foods. If dropping fast and that’s all you have that’s hc give them because honey only lasts a short time. Does this make sense?

Yes Tiff, I got it now, she is eating now. just beacase I gave her Biscuts last few days after long time she is keep asking biscuts. She loves Biscuts.
 
When things settle down you might be able to find some other treats she likes. For now it’s good you have a high carb food she loves.

I think she is bouncing again from the run of lovely blues the night before last. ..she will come down again.
I’m so glad her appetite is improving.
How much did the libre cost you without having to have it put in by the vet?

:bighug: I’m back , hope you all doing well, Cierra is eating well ( now she is forgetting about dry biscuits, but if I open it she is running to her plate :)) . She is back to normal :cat::bighug:.

Her BG was all over the place but mostly 80% on Pink area. My laptop is playing again to when I started to update the data. I will update as soon as my husband come home. ( I’m extremely sorry I promise earlier as well but didn’t update)

Cierra is back to normal and thank you SPECIAL THANKS @Bron and Sheba (GA) :bighug: and THANK YOU SO SOOO MUCH everyone…!!!!!!:bighug: Your every single thoughts , words help us and it means a lot and lot…!!!!

Now I have to feed Cierra and Simba with balance/ good nutrition food. My goal and target protect them from illness such as KIDNEY / PANCREATIC/ LiVER and of cause low CARBS . I went through food chart few times but my knowledge is zero about these.
I did buy Garments Delights with Chicken
FF Chicken chunky
Fussy cat chicken with tuna Salmon

Cierra and Simba like these wet food , and these are low carbs . ( Thank you Bron )

now challenge is finding food to protect KIDNEYS/ Pancreatic/ LIVER with low carbs..

I can cook at home .If it will help to them.
What’s is the most healthy food for cats?

and KIARA is now smiling and keep looking at Cierra. Cierra started to liking Kiara”s head . Simba gave his first kiss to Kiara day before day.

'Ill get you to start a thread over on the main health page about the food if you don't mind. Keep posting over here though for advice about the insulin. You will need to start a new thread...you need to start a new one each day:)
