Morning Everyone...
Shadow was waiting on the testing towel for his ear prick this morning...and when I went back with the syringe, he had gone back up there and was resting as he waited for Nurse Ratchett. He was purring like crazy and was ready for his medication. He is a smart kitty. BUT, his numbers are disgusting. :roll:
His poops are loose again...guess it is the new foods.
Raja wanted to go out on the terrace last night. Shadow really wants to join her but is not allowed...after a time, he was fussing inside by the screen door and when I went to check it out, there was chubby Raja on the wrong side of the darn fence again! She had jumped over, made her escape, eaten some brown long leaves (just like what Shadow got himself into the other day) Have no idea how long she was out and about...I trusted her to stay inside just like she always had done in the past. New trick with her...jumping. Always jumping over the fence lately...hmmmmm.

Well, you all know how I knew they were long brown leaves that she ate.... :lol: Because she upchucked during the night...on the rug, under the coffee table and there they were! Yup! Time for the Bissell to come out and do its magic on my rugs here. I am waiting patiently for my cat grass to grow but it is taking forever. Little sparrows were having a great time eating the seeds too and I ran out to chase them away. (what a buys life i have! :YMSIGH: )

Hope Shadow will start to get with the program here. He was doing so well and now this stretch of nonsense. Well, he is waiting for Spot's party and is focused on sending good vibes Spot's way. What can ya do, right? I will be patient with him..but I am not against increasing if I have to...did you hear that Shad?

Pat, I think we are going to have to limit you to one pukus story a week. :lol:
I hear you on the numbers....we get a good couple of days then yuck.

Sorry to see this stinkus pinkus for Shadow this morning.. Hey, Shad...you really don't have to send your greens to Spottie anymore. Spot told me to tell you he is doing good and that he can do it all himself now. He doesn't want to be stingy and he wants his friend to feel better in those nice lower numbers.

Yucko to the pukus....eewww ewww ewww!! I think I know all to well about those stories...I don't think my outside grass is good enough to eat just yest since that kind of pukus hasn't bee found in the house yet!!

Poor Shadow not being able to go out and eat brown weeds :sad: Pat I guess you need to consider what could have changed to be driving his numbers up. New food? What about the Clavamox? Is he done with it? Are you sure it got all the bacteria? Sometimes with an infection it gets worse after stopping the AB when it didn't kill everything, maybe he has something going on there. He does show some action so I assume the insulin is still good. Let's hope he gets back on track soon, if not after a few days maybe we have to add a drop of juice.

I'm still waiting for the sun here today, it keeps trying, but hasn't made a real appearence yet, probably it will come out just in time for sunset :roll: There is always hope for tomorrow right?

Really Shadow pink is not the colour this season.
I know this is driving you crazy and I do not have any theories as to
what he is up to (other than the numbers)
I am just hoping it all clears out and we get to see those blues and greens again.

sigh. I wish I could jump up and down...but really Shadow? I was thinking along the lines that Monique was writing about...his gums and infections, and well...yes the Clavamox was only for the one week and that is over with.
So, now he is back down at nice numbers...those beautiful healing blues. :mrgreen:

I did give them some different food but the stinky numbers were starting before that.
I am growing my kitty grass again since the two of them have gotten into the brown grass or vegetation recently (they used to love the stuff I would grow myself). It has sprouted and it almost ready for chomping! :mrgreen:

I am hoping that the nice numbers continue. Enough with the darn BLIPS! ohmygod_smile

I apologize for the nasty subject matter in my condos recently. We have been through a wave of the You-know-what and I have not held back in sharing it with you all. I will watch it from now on Miriam... :lol:

Well, THAT's more like it....keep it going Shadow maybe he is cured. whatever it was...hope it's g o n e for good!!

I am really feeling bad that we haven't heard from Amy & Pedro...has anyone heard from her at all?
 
I think he heard that Easter is coming and there are pink bunnies about and he wanted to become one.

So, we need to remind that he is a cat and not a bunny.

How many carbs are in those weeds anyway? I'm surprised she didn't bring any to share with Shadow.

I'm glad I waited until tonight to stop in, so I could see the blue instead of the pink. Yay Shadow!

Haven't heard from Amy/Pedro, but her last post did say something about family stuff and not being sure when she could post again. But it also said Pedro was in the hospital and I sure would like to hear the outcome of that.
 
I'm liking the blue (the pink I could do without).

I left a PM for Amy a couple of days ago and haven't heard anything. I'm worried given her last post was that she was taking Pedro to the vet.
