3/21 Templeton AMPS 356 +7 98 PMPS 96

Just think of all the things you've learned about feline diabetes, and how much better Templeton is doing because of everything that you do to take care of him :bighug:. If you do get some cake and ice cream, make sure you find some low carb options for Templeton, so he can have a little nibble too!

I remember when George was diagnosed I had no idea how I was going to manage all of this and it all seemed overwhelming…he hit his one year mark in January, so we’re right there with you :bighug:. I think cake and ice cream are a great idea to celebrate how far you and Templeton have come and how much you’ve learned :)

Looks like he wants to ring in the one year anniversary with a party!!!! Hope you got the cake and ice cream! :D

ETA: A cat is more than its numbers. We're in year 3 of Bandit's FD and she shows no signs of flattening out. I still cannot figure her numbers out. But she's back to her pre-diabetes self and I'm happy about that.

LOL. It'll go with you on your hips...not if you're one of those I can eat anything types. When are you moving?
HAHA. It's going on HIS hips, I didn't even touch it, stayed strong. He gained a whole size since c19 started. He's a 31 (78cm) now, but still smaller than me.
I need to be smart with my smorgasbord of ice cream, I can almost fit into his jeans.

We are leaving end of April now.

ETA: Is men's waist sizing the same as women's in India? Like 8/10/12?

Where are you moving to?

That dessert looks so yummy!

I know we all hope by one year they will be otj but the key words in your post are positively thriving. If that means they need insulin so be it! So happy anniversary!:bighug:

We are moving to Austin, TX for work. Going to be quite a bit cheaper than Monterey, even with how the housing market has skyrocketed there recently. Should be able to get a big ole yard for Templeton to oversee.

Yup, maybe he will be on it forever, but he’s happy and gained his weight back so that’s what matters.

So many moving away from California. If I were younger I would too. Are you natives? Monterey Is so beautiful!
