I woke up to a brown weed vomit situation. He had gotten out last night and zipped down the stairs with lightning speed. He was gone for almost an hour and I was so concerned about him. I thought he was under these dense bushes we have in the yard but when we searched with a flashlight he was already gone. We noticed him trotting back to the apartment on the upper floor. He was all happy to have had that nice experience and Raja was all over him trying to get the scent of where he had been. This morning, there was the telltale vomit. I don't like him going out because of the different things he can get into.
He didn't go under the 50 last night but got it right on the nose at +4.50. Don't think that should count towards his dosecrease , especially with this horrid pink this morning. Agree? :roll:
The kitties all helped cleaning up in the wee hours....they are so sweet. Each one did the work of about 3 people as they cleared this place of all the decorative greenery. Busy little kitties, of course, laughing and joking the whole time they were working! Then Logan announced that IF they clean up everything right away, there would be no excuse to hold the clean up parties.... :o so they all stopped short and thought about that!

Well, we made a deal....they got all the shamrocks and streamers thrown away and all the furniture was put back in place and they asked if they could leave the rest and come back again tonight to clean the floors and windows and maybe clean up the kitchen. I told them they are all welcome anytime and that sounded great to me! So, your crockpots and dishes and all other things they brought from your homes will be returned after the cleanup party....k? They might be tired today with many catnaps to make up for all the energy they spent with all the activites last night...Very wonderful group og kitties...that's for sure!! It was so much fun...They are getting ready now for the upcoming OTJ parties...
(I think some went away with good tips on getting to the Falls :mrgreen: )

I agree wait for the next low to try a decrease. Sounds like the party was a smash! Spooky was late getting there (it is a long way even on a moonbeam) things were pretty much winding down by then but he did get a few treats. I'm betting he was the one who let Shadow out, he does know how to open doors and makes a run for it every chance he gets :roll: I woke up this morning to him gacking underneath my desk upon investigation I found nothing :? He did however help himself to a bowl of Spätzle this morning. I had made it for lunch and put the bowl in the oven (safe place from cats) I left the oven door open a crack because the spätzle was still hot so it wouldn't steam the oven all up inside. I went outside for a bit and Spooky managed from the top of the stove to "ride" the door down then went into the oven and ate a few mouthfuls before I came running in and chased him away! A year ago I could have left a steak sitting on the floor and he wouldn't have looked at it.....now nothing is safe!

Great party, Pat, Raja and Shadow!! Shadow, you should stay away from those brown weeds! Don't follow Stu's example! Stu is still bouncing today and hopefully, when he comes to your place tonight to help clean up, he and Shadow will both be back in blues or greens. Have a great day! P.S. to Monique & Spooky: That Spooky is quite an athlete to be able to get into your oven and ride the door down!! Spätzle of course would be irresistible to a carb-craving sugar cat!

I think Basil may have aided and abetted with that outdoor spree, too. I apologize.

He had a GREAT time and came home looking pretty decent. But--a tattoo of Felix the Cat? What was he thinking?

Shadow is a little hung-over from the Irish punch? He and BigMac were hanging around the punch bowl quite a long time last night....hmmmm.
I hope Shadow gets it all out of his system with the brown weed... wait that didn't sound right. Weeds, I meant. heh, heh.

A little too much adventure for Mr Shadow last night! Hope he comes down nicely for you, Pat. Logan had a great time last night and is looking forward to the clean up party! :mrgreen:

Bear Man is in a huge snit today because I got home late last night, and he missed the big party. He is really sorry to have missed all the fun.

BTW, thanks for the advice on packing the extra jacket. It came in handy.

Thank you so much Shadow and Raja for hosting such a fun party.....I still did not have the heart to tell Putty that it was not St. Putty's day so thank you for all playing along and making him feel so special.
What did you have at the party Shadow to give you these pink amps? I hope you are on your way back down. cat_pet_icon

He is coming down slowly....so, thank you all for the nice things you said..I am glad to hear what the kitties said about the party. We really enjoyed having everyone here. It was GREAT!!!
Shadow escaped again today...DH opened the door and the little rascal went flying out again...LOL..DH ran down after him and it was so sad to see Shadow's little face when they came back inside... he really looked disappointed! :lol: Never a dull moment!

for us Canadian Cats.
Glad to see Shadow is done tonight, I know when gets pink drives you....

If Max saw an open door, he would ran in the other direction. He likes to view the outside
from the inside. Once I held him and took him on the deck and he wimpered, 18 pounds of wimper. Oh well.
 
Hi Pat! Just stopping in to say thanks for hosting such a wonderful party last night. Spot had such a good time, but he came home without his top hat and bow tie..and I don't think the zippy pants he had on when he came home were the same one he had on when he left....and he was singing this song about Tequila makes his clothes fall off!!! Boy oh boy, must have been a heck of a party!

Sounds like Shadow wanted to find another party this morning with that running away stuff. I'm so glad you found him. I know you were worried. Hope those numbers come down more for you tonight!
 
Is Shadow leash trained? I take Donny outside on a harness. He loves to sniff around (and sniff and sniff and sniff :roll:) and eat grass. Oh, and puke it up.

Pat , Raja and Shadow, Tess says thanks for hosting the party. She usually doesn't go out so these occasions are really special. Hope they all did a good job on the cleanup, Tess is usually pretty good on the windows. She likes to lick the condensation off. She was pretty tuckered out today but back down into her green surf. I thinks she has a new hobby.
