Michelangelo has been swimming along like crazy. I keep on waiting for him to need a dose increase because he never maintains numbers this well for very long. Levemir has really made a difference! It's like Mikey has had a complete attitude adjustment and is a pleasant, fairly happy cat. He sleeps with me every night now and does this cute little thing where he puts his head on the pillow next to mine and just gazes at me adoringly. We've also had (almost) NO PROBLEMS with shot time. A couple of times, he's flinched or winced at the shot...but that was before I even poked him so I knew he was faking it just because I disrupted his play time. :roll:
In personal news, I've been MIA even worse than usual because I've been desperately looking for a new place to move into that isn't too expensive and is in the same area I live now. I'm really starting to think I can't afford Orange County any more. It's gotten ridiculous. I finally found a place and got approved for it yesterday; I just have to drop off the deposit today (double-rent at $3900!
). It doesn't have everything I want (I'm going to have to store my washer/dryer because it already comes with stackable) but it's close enough and cheap enough that I couldn't say, "no." But then, of course, this morning I look online and there's a place that has everything I want and is even cheaper (with one less bedroom). ohmygod_smile I'm trying not to second-guess myself and trying to be happy with what I've got, but it's hard when I wasn't exactly "happy" with it to begin with. :YMSIGH: I guess I'll give this place a year and then move if it's just not cutting it. At least that way, I won't be so frantic and rushed and will already know what's out there and what it's going to cost me.
