Spoiler alert for weak constitutions...disgusting talk to follow...
Shadow had a hairball and liquid pukey this morning right before breffis. That sound...running for paper towels....that awful stance, all hunched over...the wide open mouth, that nasty stuff. All that stuff we talked about yesterday. UGH! I sure am glad that Beans don't get hairballs cause I don't think I could stand that! :roll:
He ate very well and he was purring his little head off. Now sitting by the opened screen door....
BTW, CD ~~ I buy the Prime Bites freeze-dried chicken for Dogs...

Shadow was almost green this AM but did show his St. Patrick's Day colors in the WEE hours. This is the fifth day since his last <50 number so he had better get a move on if he is in the mood for a reduction...2 more days left or else the timer is reset again. It's all up to Shadow and his Pancreas though...we shall see.

We are more than ready for the big party around here. I hope that everyone is ready for a great time together....they so love to be all together!! I hope that everyone knows about it...
I did my best to tell all the Beans about it but if i missed anyone, i apologize. It is an Open House...all kitties are invited to attend. Can't wait for some of Stu's Stew and Six Riverdance ...and all the festivities that they all have planned. Hope you all enjoy your day!!

Come on Shadow don't miss the boat, you gotta get another low to earn that decrease. His numbers are lovely though, lot's of healing going on!

I had to laugh at the "glad Beans don't get hairballs" I remember my stepdad always said after he had a coughing spell..."Must be a hairball". I've certaintly had that feeling before (oh the college days :roll: ) however the whole action doesn't seem to bother the cats so much.

Hi Pat,
Maggie's ready for St. Patty's day and is sorry about Shadow puking. My Siamese kitty who crossed the Rainbow Bridge used to puke a lot, and I have fond memories of trying to catch it in the paper towel and then just as I was about to catch it, he turned his head :lol: ! For a boy kitty, he was always grooming himself. Hoping Shadow and Raja have a great party day. As soon as Maggie awakes, she will be there!

P.S. About those freeze dried dog treats with real chicken, are those in the freezer compartment at PetsMart? I notice the pet stores now carry raw meat and have a freezer section, Maybe they always had it; I just noticed.

I think Shadow is following O'Spottie's lead and will be fashionably late with the Greens today!

Sorry about the pukus thing...O'Spottie grooms himself so much he always has those furball things happening. I'm sure Shadow will be ready to party tonite!!

Oh, the hairball puke!! I run around holding newspaper under Checkers, while he's jumping around, trying to get away LOL.
Fun is stepping in cold hairball puke first thing in morning. Blech!
Check hopes to be home in time for the party later. My daughter was horrified that I planned to send Scottish shortbread to the party, but she said I can still make them for her. :lol:

Hey Shadow! Great vomit this morning!! Now that it's out of your system, you can concentrate on the party. I overdid it yesterday and bounced back to pink, but I'm planning to have at least a little bit of green to wear tonight. See you later. The stew is simmering nicely!!

Party, Party, Party. Tuscany says she is feeling good and is ready to party. She is stepping away from her usual niptini and asking for green beer tonight. If there isn't any - she will bring enough for all. Please send her home when the party is done. She does tend to get under the table and sleep soundly so she may not realize that it was time to go. Tuscany says if she really must - she'll allow Josie to come - even though Josie swatted at her today. Hope you get the green numbers later!

The party!!! I completely forgot!!! Perhaps this is why Morris is spending time up in the red/black zone!!!! :mrgreen:

Sure hope all the kitties have a GREAT time at the party & don't leave behind too much of a mess!! :lol:

Poor Shadow and his tummy. I think Mama is going to have to rub it better, or
Shadow is just making room for all the treats conming his way.
Max is on route and sporting a green suit already, OMG, that crazy cat.

Pat, where do you get those treats. That's what I use in Montreal but still have
not found it at Petsmat or walmart in te estates, and I woud like to get
more on my next trip south of the border.

Oh, and BTW, don't forget to set up the hidden video camera so we can see
what goes on at the party.

Geez Nova was 108 this morning.. Shadow and her are playing diabetic cat twins lately or something.. Also had one of my civies barf today.. he did a solid 20 seconds of nasty heaving, I ran to the kitchen and got the HUGEST pile of paper towels.. I come back? maybe 1/2 teaspoon of barf..

Nova had a "bath" (she loves to be soaked down with water and brushed) this morning to get her self all beautiful to pick up some guys at the party tonight.. everyone's excited!

Thanks for the info on the Pure bites, I thought I looked at Petsmart but didn't see them. Maybe just not out here in CA.

Tess is looking forward to the party, she's taking a nap now to rest up. She was sitting in the window earlier eying the avocados in the tree. I think she's planing on bring guacamole, it's not Irish, but it's green! :mrgreen: The surf's up now, hope it holds for the moonbeam ride. (anti=jinx) flip_cat

Checkers is home with his green collar on. He made me take off the green bandage the pretty tech lady put on his leg.
We hope Shadow's tummy is all better, so she can eat lots of Stu's stew.

Although Shadow isn't green, he came down nicely from that 160!

Tess is all in green and on her way riding the flattest surf I've seen. She insisted on the home grown guacamole 'cause it's green, but no chips. Might be tasty on those pirogies O'Spottie is bringing.

Checkers had a nap and he's on his way too. Good thing for the shamrocks to show the way. He thinks he's quite the cat's meow in his bright green collar. He insisted on a bell on the collar, so the girls would hear him coming.
Hope my little piggy doesn't eat too much and lose his svelte waistline.

Stu is off to the party wearing his yellow suit (he did get a high blue this morning and yellow + blue = GREEN, so Stu is really wearing green!!! He can't wait to see his friends and PARTY!

I'm driving Sara over to the party. She does'nt have her license yet and being the overprotective mom I am, I did'nt want her to get lost. She insisted on wearing green [PMPS 83]. She does'nt do that at night to often. But being St. Patty's.....

She has a green bow made of tulle that sits right on top of her head, and is hoping the gents will take notice.

Here is a picture of Sara trying it on this afternoon. Shes sitting on her green sleeping bag one of her favorite spots.

let shadopw know I tucked Latte in on her throne, surrounded by peacock feathers (they are mostly green!). She may be a little late because it gets dark later....she is waiting for the moonbeam. She got close to green today in the spirit of the party (102 ?104?), but also knew she needed to obey dr's orders. She was wondering if Shadow might slow dance with her tonight...hehehe.

Anyway, glad to hear Shadow is well? Are you done with the clavamox yet? The last few days can be the hardest.

Hope the kitties stay under control tonight and you can get some sleep.

Nice blues for Shadow today. Less likely to bounce.

I think getting rid of the hairball was just to make room for more treats tonight.

Well Beans, this place is really hopping!! Six is well into his Riverdancing and has persuaded Morris and Moses to join along...they put on quite a show! Kitty started everyone off with batches of green tunaritas and green snacks...They were wonderful and everyone loved them! JD has been pushing his catnip in between and everyone is getting all crazy on that stuff...he certainly did bring enough for this mob!
I just can't begin to tell you how much fun this is. I am hiding and trying to peek at the festivities...
Basil started off the dancing in his green Irish suit (all the boys wanted to know where he got it and if they could get one too) He is the dapper one indeed! He seemed to be waltzing around a lot with Sara and her green tulle bow...and then Maggie was dancing all the foxtrots with him. Checkers placed his Scottish shortbread on the buffet table and then ran off with O'Spottie in his zippy pants who was going to introduce him to EVERYONE! Doing a good job too, that O'Scottie! :lol: Checkers soon began chatting with Tuscany over some green beer and Josie helped Maui get the nipjitos ready. Maui is organizing the food and drink so the buffet table looks really great!

Big Mac is helping Shadow at the door ~~ greeting everyone and making them feel comfortable...anything anyone wants...they are there to help out. Of course, Logan is sitting on his throne with Raja on one side and Max on the other...Logan and Raja did a few slow dances and now they are making him rest properly....he is eating a bit of Stu's Stew...that was a big hit...everyone is really digging into that! Stu is a great cook!

Nova and Luna have been in a deep discussion while Tess and Bast took time out from dancing with the boys to serve the guacamole. They all ran over just now to see Rosie and the catnip ice cream cones...they swamped her! :lol: Oh...shadow just saw Latte and now they are dancing away....smiling from ear-to-ear.
Ooops...I hope they didn't see me...that's all I can say. I am really sworn to secrecy form this point on. Just know that they are all having a wonderful time....laughing and dancing and eating...what a wonderful group of kitties!

Not a gremlin suit, but I thought I'd drop off a pair of green pajamas...looks like this party could run all night! Not that there's going to be much sleeping... :-D

I had a really hard time convincing my kitty that everyone was not over there to celebrate SAINT PUTTY'S DAY
I was wondering why he kept saying that he was so excited that everyone was having a party in his honor.

Moses has always had a warm spot in his heart for Michael Flatley. When it's time for beddies, he can't turn off those footers. It's the "Celtic Tiger" all night long!

That explains it! That wonderful excercise dancing must have been the trick to get Morris' number to come down! Sure glad he made it to the party for that!!! While yellow is not quite as good as green, it is definately better than the red & black we have been seeing!!

Sure hope the kitties clean up after themselves & don't leave a big mess behind!!!! Can't wait until the morning to see what all this partying will do to everyone's BG levels!!!

They ALL ended up getting lessons from Six on the Riverdance. They were in heaps of laughter at themselves but he got them to get serious and they ended up looking pretty darn good...for 4 legged creatures! :lol: Then they all had their own St. Putty's Day parade...they skewed the name a bit for Putty's sake and he lead them all around the neighborhood...what a polite and wonderful kitty he is. He was so happy....as were they when they got back, they began their dancing...waves of green floating across the dance floor. Quite different from the Full Moon parties.
They are all happy and some are resting while others are gathering and talking. Then they seem to switch and the others rest awhile...there is much laughter and joy here tonight! This is the best party ever since everyone came. Thank you all for letting them get together like this!! We have a wonderful bunch of kitties here...all anxious to get healthy and get to the Falls...
As for me, I will nap now and check on Shadow during the night...figures he goes green after St. Patty's Day is officially over....I enjoy some corned beef tonight and some pistachio ice cream...an appropriate color for the day! :mrgreen:
 
Ah, congrats on the belated green.
Donovan enjoyed watching all the looneyness tonight. He's more of an observer than a participant, you see, unless he's really blitzed (and he promised he'd be a Good Boy and not do that, since he's supposed to be busy chewing Bazooka).
 
Pat, Checkers asked me to thank you for the hoppong party. He really had a blast! :-D I think he will sleep the day away today, he was so exhausted from all the dancing and schmoozing. :lol:
He can't wait for your next shabang! :-D
