Quincy vomited a 1/2 hour before his AMBG test, so I knew a higher number was coming. It was mainly clear liquid, but also had a tiny hairball. Seems fine now, has eaten 2x today already. I'm working from home so plan on getting a +6 or +7 today just to make sure he's still green.
I'm starting to think testing him at 5:30am (closer to 6am today due to the vomiting) is probably catching him at the highest time of the day. So many times the test comes after either a BM or some vomiting. I guess it's good for me to see Quincy's BG at his highest, and that it's at least in the normal range most of the time, though. And hopefully as time passes, it may come down a bit.
Quincy's pancreas has gotten a lot of work during this trial - he's vomited three separate mornings, and come back down each time (though last Sat was a bit different), plus it had to fight against the cupcake Quincy ate too!
