I don't get it! :o Something happened with his numbers! Yesterday was great! I even tested him last night at 1:15 AM (+6) and he was 80. Then I wake up and test him and he's YELLOW! Holy crap. Talk about upsetting.

AM - 221
+2 - 168
+3 - 125

Ant ideas on why this happened or is it just the way it is with this disease?
 
Is it possible that he could have eaten something naughty? Any high carb food around? People food in the sink that he could have accessed while you slept?

I would keep an eye on it. Boomer has been pretty steady for a couple of months now. If he doesn't go back down, I would look to your insulin vial or cartridge (although at 1 drop, I doubt it's bad insulin) or maybe Boomer had something else going on. An infection, maybe? A vet visit might be necessary if his numbers stay high.

Bummer Boomer. I hope it was just a fluke and he'll return to those lovely greens by tonight.

I can get another test before I leave the house to visit DBF and his drooler who is terminal but doing well. He literally has stopped his life because he won't leave her for long. He's une,ployed at the moment but I don't think he's looking for a job because he doesn't want to leave her. It's a hard tome for us right now between a diabetic cat and a terminal dog. We live 40 minutes apart too. Sorry - I digress!!!!

you want a room next to me traci. checked wheezer at +3 48 so fed a heaping TBS raw and wake up to a 321. bangs head on wall here. only cane down a little at +7. they sure keep ya hopping, don;t they?
 
Well, it seems that Mr. Green was a good babysitter today; he wouldn't let Ms. Pee Yellow come back to bother Boomer. Whew.

And to answer the question about whether or not Boomer could have gotten into any high carb food - the answer is nope. I don't have anything out that he'd get into. I wish it was that simple - then I'd have answer, ya know? I have no idea how that number in the 200's happened.

Is anyone else having a hard time with Google Docs? It's driving me nuts for the past few days!
 
That's more like it Boomer!

Google updated something yesterday and if your browser is outdated, it may be buggy or it won't work at all. But it should give you an warning message across the top of the window. I noticed lots of people posting about problems, maybe it's just acting up because of whatever they changed yesterday?
