After the comments on from the Vet on his condition, I hv decided to bring him back home to spend time with him on his last days, and he can have his sister around him. tho he is still just hiding inside his box, and not moving around. But he is eating on his own, tho, not enough.
He actually ate quite some when i was there with him this morning.

He has his appointment for Friday morning to say Goodbye
 
From yesterday (3/12)

AMPS @ 12am (at vet with AT2) 0.5 u
his BG had been very low after. like around 118 to 88

this morning we transfer Belle to his reg vet for hospitalization IV, and brought him back to 24-hr clinic after reg vet closed. at 24-hr clinic , they ran another test on the kidney numbers.

So, after 48 hrs of IV, his kidney numbers hasn't really done down much, and doctors say there might not be improvements further, and suggested it might be time to say goodbye.

he is still there now for overnight, which i will pick him up in the morning, and decide whether to bring him again to reg vet for another day of IV, or bring him home to have him and his sister spend more time together.

So so sorry. Seems to be a lot of very sick kitties the last week or so. Praying for comfort for you and Belle .

Man. Some days are just not good days.

That's very sad Helena & I am so sorry that his time draws close far too soon.

I hope you can be with him these last few days and remember his good days and years with you. I am so sorry he has not recovered and that he will go to the Bridge. He was lucky to have you as his Mom.

he is comfortable at home, i think he's happier than at the hospital, just that he is not on IV
he is still tired, but he actually eats pretty well earlier today, finished more than a can of FF today
and also came upstairs (just a few steps) himself.
tho he still sleeps a lot, there is always so much happening at the hospital, first thing he did after he came home was took a good nap.

I am so sorry to hear your sad news. Sending you prayers and peace in your difficult days ahead. You and Belle have been lucky to have each other, and I hope you are able to spend lots of time with him over the next few days. I am so very sad. Belle has always had a special place in my heart. He reminds me of Cinco, in a way. You took him in when he was in need, and he has had much more time because of you. I hope these last days with him bring both of you joy and comfort.

I’m so sorry Halena. You did more for him then most would’ve. Give him chin scritches for me. Have a safe journey to the bridge sweet Belle, many of our kitties are there to show you the way.

May sweet Belle's remaining days be no different than those that came before them - precious, and filled with family, love, light, and happiness. I'm sure that she wouldn't want it any other way.
 
I hope you have a couple of days of really good memories with Belle. Spoil him rotten. He knows you love him. :bighug:
