With AMPS being so low I'll do +1 to make sure he got a decent food spike and I don't need to intervene.when are you testing next +1? +2? I'll set an alarm so I come back on line
I'm about to take +11 reading, so....I would also feed him a good sized meal around +9.5
Nope, I said I was going to ask about the urine vs the blood test and if the urine test was just a screening we'd go straight to the blood. Vet confirmed that's the case, urine test is just screening and then a blood test would be necessary, so we're just going straight to that.I thought you were going for the urine test first?
Yup, just going to play it safe and gave him a half dose. I'm also giving him some FF Gravy just for the sake of getting more food in him. He had his fill of the LC but he'll chow down on as much of the whitefish as I put in front of him. I'll give him his regular dose in the morning and then feed him as soon as he gets back from the vet, probably spike him with a little HC gravy at that point too just so the onset doesn't hit too hard.I've no experience with the situation you are in. What you are proposing makes sense, we would expect the early part of the cycle to play out the same and the effect of the dose reduction would be seen later on tonight.
Make sure he eats as much as you can get him to by +1 hopefully that will stop him chewing your arm of in the morning.
Good call, didn't even think of that.Take some of his food with you so they can offer it to him after the procedure, that way they won't be tempted to give him kibble.
