I don't even know where this week went. Next week is our spring break (yay!!!) and there was just a lot going on at work and things that needed to get done before then. In addition to that, the rescue that I volunteer with helped with a hoarding/abandonment case this week. Someone moved and left 25 cats behind. We ended up taking two nursing moms and kittens, 2 other adult cats and two older kittens. I immediately feel in love with a very vocal and active little grey and white boy (see pictures). Since I have more than enough going on with my animals, I decided that I really couldn't foster anyone else though.
Walter finally got a long overdue dosecrease yesterday and is looking a bit better today. Mandarin is continuing to do well. Two days ago, he was at 37 by dinnertime... I didn't even realize that cats would go that low without Insulin.
Lenny is feeling better every day. I am just so glad that I decided to get the surgery done and I can't wait for him to be able to move a bit more. Lenny and I are both more than ready to be done with the crate rest. He has an appointment for a recheck and staple removal on Friday and the vet will clear him for physical therapy at that point.
