Yesterday, we said goodbye to our sweet Cosmo and helped him cross the rainbow bridge :rb_icon:

He was almost 17, had multiple challenges and was so brave and strong throughout. He might have been the bounciest kitty on FDMB  In the end, it wasn’t diabetes, he went into heart failure, and his lungs began to fill with fluid. There wasn’t anything we could do. We knew it was time and we didn’t want our little Cosmo to suffer.

Mike (DH), our non sugar baby Jasper and I are heart broken. There is never enough time, but we know that Cosmo is always in our hearts.

While we hadn’t posted in a long time, we want to thank everyone here at FDMB for all your support over the years. The laughs, the support through our frustrations and all the great advice. Thank you. We will forever be grateful.

Fly free sweet Cosmo cat_wings>o

Oh Tanya, I am so sorry. That’s exactly what happened with Max. I thought of you since your last post and was thinking no news is good news. We did have lots of laughs and fun through your journeys. Take care of yourselves. My condolences to you and Mike.:bighug:

(((Tanya and Mike))) I am so sorry it was Cosmo's time to earn his wings. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug: While he had many challenges, he was in exactly the right home to deal with all of them. Including that very selfless decision to help him at the end. You are amazing caregivers.

Take care of yourselves now, it is really hard to lose a sugar baby.

I'm very saddened to read of Cosmo's passing. I'm sure your heart is broken. I hope he's flying free now, enjoying the butterflies.

Please know that he's waiting for you on the other side, free of pain. cat_wings>o
