I turned my alarm off this am and went right back to sleep for about 45 mins :banghead: so Callie's early am snack was a little later than usual and may have slightly affected her AMPS number. Even so, I think her bg has been creeping up a little overall on .5. It's our 8th cycle on this dose -- should I hold here a little longer to see if she settles in and comes down or is it time to bump Callie back up to .75?

And if I do bump her back up, should I start giving her higher carbs at +1 again to try to slow her initial drop? She occasionally still likes to free fall at onset.

Happy March everyone :) Surf safely kitties :cat:

I don't think her numbers are significantly worse than they were on higher doses. She tends to have numbers on the higher side of normal.

You could try feeding a snack at +9 to see if it brings down her PS. Ideally in both cycles, but try it in the AM cycle first and it works....then PM cycle too. Unless you can set up the autofeeder for PM+9 and she will eat on her own?

Thanks, Bhooma. I was a little worried about the 120s creeping back and then the 130 this am really threw me.

I will start doing a +9 snack today. Callie has gotten a PM +8.5/+9 snack a few times recently and she was getting slightly lower blue AMPS numbers (2/18-2/23.) My alarm is usually set to feed her at +9.5 but Callie got me up earlier those days. I'll just set my alarm for +9 instead going forward...as long as I don't decide to roll over and go back to sleep.
